This hotel was modestly priced, but very comfortable. It is extremely close and convenient to shopping in the Tres Cruces mall, paid parking in the mall, and the bus station. It was very easy to catch an early morning Buquebus.

The hotel is across the street from a busy shopping mall and bus station. Has access to many sorts of transportation. Good variety of shopping and eating within easy walking distance. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is next to the bus station that has a shopping mall upstairs so if you are going on or returning from a long trip as we were then this hotel has the bonus of being in the perfect location. The surrounding area is average as is the case with many train and bus stations so I would make this hotel a transitorial choice and not one for you two week holiday as you are very far from the center of Montevideo. The hotel had just been refurbished before our stay so it was very nice to stay in such a comfortable and well presented place. The staff are excellent.

A very noisy room on the first floor on Goes street. As I talked to the receptionist I learned that they can not guarantee a room that does not look on Goes street I was told that it depended on availability and that I could not book a quieter room in advance. So as a whole, my stay was disappointing and frustrating because the traffic on Goes street never stops and the window panes are not efficient enough. I felt that the cars were my sleep companions and I woke up exhausted. Of course I booked a room there since my usual hotel was fully booked, however, you can never tell, I may sleep at the Cuidadanos once again if I really have no choice.
