Good value

Good hotel in Central Montevideo. We only stayed one night as a layover hotel. Location was good for restaurants and cafes. Good breakfast in the morning . Quiet for a good night sleep. Good value for the price. Only down side is our room apparently was the only room in the hotel where the hot was water inversed, right vs left. We never got the hot working to use as we had a bus to catch.

When I saw the price, I thought it was too good to be true. After staying there for four nights, we were amazed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is not luxurious, but is comfortable and totally clean. The location is fantastic with historically important restaurants very nearby, and a bakery next-door. Easy walk to the historic downtown and also to very good local bus service to get to other areas. Breakfast also was outstanding with many choices of delicious things.

The property is very old and the room was small. The room had a very large wardrobe which wasted the small amount of space available. Poor room design.

I had several complications having visitors. I never stayed in a hotel where i would have to pay additionally per visitor, I felt it intrusive to my privacy. The AC didn't work in my room and there was not toilet brush, which was also very uncomfoprtable. The beds are okay, the shower is nice. At the reception desk stands a very present tall statue of a person of colour-servant/hotel-boy. For an 'international' hotel in 2024 to promote such racist imagery is really unpleasant.

Cafe da manha tem bastante opções, uma delicia! O hotel também muito gostoso de ficar, e é cheiroso e limpinho. Os funcionários da recepção são muitos atenciosos, eu amei a experiência.

Quarto limpo, funcionários muito educados. Hotel bem localizado. Único ponto é a pouca luz no banheiro e o box daqueles de uma parte, acaba molhando tudo. Café da manhã muito bem servido!

Excelente custo-benefício. Cama confortável, muito limpo e organizado. Dentre os 4 hoteis que ficamos no Uruguay (alguns de 4 estrelas), esse foi o melhor. O café da manhã era bom, tinha opções sem glúten e sem lactose (é só pedir com antecedência), ovos, frutas, pães, bolos, geleias, doces, iogurtes. É perto de todos os pontos turísticos do centro (pode-se ir a pé).
