Monte Pidocchina

More quiet residential area of Firenze in walking distance of center but away from the crowds. No elevator and two flight of stairs.

Booking in was quick and easy , staff very friendly and helpful. Small corner shop for little extras if required but hotel is within 10mins walking distance to restaurants and shops. Rooms was spacious and beds very comfortable.bathroom great size and shower , our daughter loved it Doors open for little veranda Great air conditioning Very quiet area Hotel was very clean and is great location from train station , within 10 mins walking distance, we stayed 2 nights could have easily stayed another few nights as lots to see in florence

The hotel is in a great spot if you want to be in the city center. The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and overall it was a great space. I wish they had conditioner but I noticed that some of the hotels in Europe just don’t have conditioner. Some do and some don’t so if they did that would have been a bonus. I will say our bathroom was weird and I forgot to take a pic of it. It was different than what you see in the pictures for the comfort room that we picked. It was a small closet sized room that had the shower in the corner with a drain so even with towels surrounding the shower the floor would get wet and it was easy to slip. Other than that the room was perfect for what we needed it to be for our trip.
