"We felt well cared for while spending two nights at La Bonne Auberge with our German Shepard. Emmanuel, the host, had a dog bed, water dish and disposable bags in the room on our arrival. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially at night. "We had the Rousseau room at the very top of the building. It was spacious and very comfortable. We were prepared to have to walk stairs (no elevator) and the staff carried bags up and down. The heating was tricky but staff sorted it out. Breakfast was great and location is superb. Lea on the staff was especially helpful. For improvement, we would note that the bathtub/shower was very slippery and a bit treacherous with no grab bar to hold. Strongly recommend that they add non/slip grips to the floor of the tub and/or a grab bar to the wall. Otherwise, terrific."
