"Thibaud, the host, has created a lovely property that is very comfortable and well equipped. The house was beautifully clean and had everything we needed for our stay. "Belle maison très bien équipée spacieuse avec beaucoup de charme. Quelques informations du site sont erronées : La piscine n'est pas chauffée et n'est pas sécurisée et à priori elle peut être partagée avec une autre location mitoyenne. "We booked the house, for the amount of rooms to accommodate, 4 couples and 3 kids, The house worked perfectly for everyone. All loving the appeal of the location and house. I think we would have struggled finding a better property in the area, which is so idyllic and peaceful."

"Private, quiet, unpretentious but lots of history around the property. We spent most of our time alternating between the lovely pool and the cool of the house. Big family meals and parties. Although there were 20 of us the house rarely seems full. Highly recommend."

"Lovely small hotel. Friendly and welcoming, clean and comfortable. Great choice of continental breakfast at 10€. There is no lift but we don't mind stairs and didn't have heavy bags. We both slept well in comfort. Air conditioning worked well. Good quiet location in a picturesque little town. Highly recommended. "

Comfortable pre-flight stay

"Very good hotel in excellent location for easy walking access to Bergerac, including the old town. Didn’t try breakfast as had an early flight. Room was very comfortable, with aircon and fridge a godsend in 33C. Unfortunately didn’t get chance to use pool as only in Bergerac for 1 day. Note: no reception after about 9pm, but door code provided. "

"Booked and paid in JANUARY. Arrived 16:00 (check-in allegedly from 14:00). Place was locked; could not make anyone hear us. Waited 30 minutes before finding another hotel. Had also booked dinner but the sign outside said the restaurant was closed on Tuesday (the day of our stay). Contacted hotels.com to request full refund - this was apparently refused by the hotel (though hotels.com personnel said they couldn’t really communicate with hotel very well as the staff there only spoke French. Er… it’s a French hotel!!!). Eventually given £25 in award points - well under half what we had paid five months earlier! VERY unhappy with the whole situation!"
