Situated along private driveway, this upside down cedar saltbox affords both pond and sunsets views in a secluded half acre setting. Multi sliders lead to decking off upper cathedral living areas with fireplace centered on kitchen and dining room with half guest bathroom. Main entry leads to en suite master bedroom, three guest bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a door to fully finished basement. Mature trees and generous decking add to this wonderful vacation rental . Less than a 10 minute walk to both village and ocean beaches.

We had an amazing stay at the property with family. House was updated and clean, had plenty of common space to be together as a group, including multiple outdoor decks. Location is a 15-20 minute walk to town and the beach, which was great. Host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with

Such an amazing stay at the Serene Saltbox. The location was amazing - a walk intro town or the town beach. And it’s set back from the road in a quiet neighborhood. Loved our time there.

House was spectacular in every way. It was walkable distance to downtown and the surf Lodge house was clean and decorated beautifully had a great view and had a great view.

Great property for a family with kids

Location: The house is close to the center of town - we walked there several times and it is an easy walk. The outdoor space: the house has a great flat backyard - suitable for games as well as a swing set for smaller children. 2 decks - one with outdoor table, gas fire table and grill and comfortable outdoor furniture so that the guests can maximize being outdoors (you can hear the road but it is not terrible) Top floor: open layout with kitchen and family/dining are - full of window - very light and inviting space, comfy sofas.... We appreciated that the kitchen had basic staples and spices so we did not have to run to the store to get salt or sugar or vinegar.... Dishes were of good quality and kitchen equipped well for cooking while on vacation. Dowstairs: 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds - 2 full bathrooms on the 1st floor (and one 1/2 bath on the 2nd floor) and that is why I think the house will work great for families with kids rather than grown ups. The house has decent beach chairs and umbrellas. Everything was as described in the listing.

Perfect Montauk getaway!

This property was the perfect place for our long holiday weekend in Montauk. The hosts are very responsive, easy to work with, and clear with guest expectations. The home was pristine and fully stocked with anything we needed to make our stay comfortable, including kitchen supplies. Better in person than in the photos! We hope to return in the future!

Perfect summer house

We had such an amazing time staying in this beautiful home! Such a convenient location, 10 min walk to the town and beach so we never needed a car. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Montauk!

Great House and Location!

This house was great! The setup within the house was perfect (rooms on first floor and living room / kitchen on top). Whether your with friends or family with kids the house did not disappoint. It aas also a good distance from town so we were able to walk if needed. Another plus was all the outdoor space for hanging out and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay

What a wonderful home. My family just enjoyed a week here and it was a fantastic experience. Plenty of amenities for our young kids and the new swing set was a hit. The views from the top deck were spectacular and we enjoyed eating out there. Great experience with the hosts. Beautiful home inside and out. We look forward to renting again in the future!
