Villa Il Poggio is an 17th century villa located 3 km from the pretty medieval village of Montisi in the municipality of Montalcino and immersed in the unmistakable and characteristic landscape of the Crete Senesi, Stunning 360* view. In Montisi there is a grocery store, a pharmacy, some restaurants and a winery.
A careful restoration completed 10 years ago, using original period materials, has maintained the style of the farmhouse and ensured an ancient atmosphere with modern technology. The villa has 4 beautiful double beds and one bedroom with 2 beds. On the first floor there are 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with hydro and shower. Two bedrooms, one double and one bedroom with 2 single beds are on the ground floor, there are 2 bathrooms on the ground floor. We rent the entire property. The spacious bedrooms have been decorated in elegant colours. On the ground floor there is a large living room of about 60 square meters with 3 sofas and a large table, there is a large 75-inch satellite TV, a stereo radio and a bluetooth speaker for your relaxation. Next door is the dining room about 30 square meters with a fantastic traditional fireplace, the dining room leads to the pergola equipped with 2 sofas and a large table for dining and you can admire the breathtaking views of the rolling Tuscan hills all around and hear the sound of silence.
Between the dining rooms and the living room there is the kitchen which is equipped with all comforts (90 cm oven, 90 cm gas hob, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, American coffee, espresso coffee machine and mocha). Inside the living room there is a corner with another 4 burners and another sink.
The large private garden with a wonderful panoramic swimming pool overlooking the hills is equipped with 2 gazebos, tables, deck chairs to guarantee you a relaxing holiday. In the laundry room you can find a washing machine and an iron. The BBQ is 10 meters from the villa.

The villa is about 3 km away to medieval village of Montisi; about 20 minutes each are the beautiful medieval villages of Montalcino and Montepulciano where you can taste the excellent red wines, Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano. In a few minutes you can reach the Artistic, Natural and Cultural Park of the Val d'Orcia.
Siena, Arezzo, Florence, San Gimignano are not far away
The thermal waters of Bagno Vignoni ,Bagni S. Filippo and Rapolano Terme are also a short distance away.

The whole villa has heating, the climate of Tuscany is mild, generally the villa does not need heating from mid-April to mid-October, the first 2 weeks of April and the last 2 weeks of October only need a few hours in the evening, consumption will be counted at the counter at a cost of 4.5 euros per cubic metre.
