Stay in Mojacar
The host as a villa with an amazing view full stop
The villa is advertised as 5 bedrooms not the case there are four furnished bedrooms not 5
When we contacted the host she said there was 5 .
The fifth one was a storage cupboard there was a pull up bed in the wardrobe with no linen and the room was in a poor state and not big enough to be classed as a bedroom also no air conditioning
The villa itself in its day would have been fabulous but is know tired and worn out some tlc is needed
Furniture was broken my sisters chair collapsed with her on it just had a hip operation the chair was by the pool and brittle.
The cutlery needs replacing and not enough to cater for 5 adults and two children glasses were cracked the silicone round in kitchen was mouldy missing tiles by bathroom on far side of house
Pool shower room tiles missing the pump room no cover on electric box no lock on door for safety purposes.
When l phoned the VRBO and sent photos l was told l should have complained in the beginning l agree but not booking with VRBO before l contacted host over a number of issues aircon not working in one room no hairdryer as advertised one turned up 11 days later.
Also it got to the stage we had payed a lot of money and didn’t want to spend the next 14 days of our holiday on the phone constantly
There was no smoke detector and no co2 detector also there should be complaints book by law in Spain not the case
