"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. "This is a great B&B, really well appointed old french farmhouse. We stayed in the smaller room which had a great shower, was quiet and warm. My only small issue is that I would have preferred a bigger bed. Breakfast was great and had a lot of choices. The lady who runs the place looked after us and was very welcoming. "

"Perfect for overnight stop en route South or North. Lovely lady (owner?) Rooms recently decorated and so so so clean...bathroom spotless. Restaurant on site...was able to sit outside. Formula evening menu which is great when you don't want to spend too mush. Great nights sleep and lovely breakfast, the lady owner constantly re freshing items on breakfast buffet, tidying and wiping the surfaces. Thank you for a great stay."

"We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."
