Very fun apartment over the lumberyard pub. Good food and live music downstairs on Saturday. Host was very responsive.

The location is good, right in the middle of Afton village it is above a pub/ restaurant which is not a noise problem. The apartment is also above the post office which IS a noise problem at about 5:30 in the morning. The apartment is very basic but pleasant. I would stay there again.

Disappointing Stay

I was excited to stay at this place as it was above a pub and a little shop. Also, the host was nice and really responsive. However, upon arriving at a late hour after our flight, we were greeted with the smell of must/mold. We were so tired we just went to bed, but all 4 of us were woken up at 5 am due to the bedrooms now having curtains and the post office below making thunderously loud noises every few minutes. I reached out to our host immediately that morning and never received a response. I tried again a day later, and again, no response. Do not stay here, especially with children.

Afton is beautiful

Great place especially if you like to hangs out in a outside bar and restaurant. The internet works well and it is very comfortable. Everything was great until 5:00am when the truck s show up at the post office directly below the room. From there on out they are rolling mail around in heavy carts for the rest of the morning . I put the heat and air on to drowned it out a little bit.which helped..
