We booked this hotel for a pool day for our kids bday and the pool was overloaded and not managed and than broke the next day - our kids were so disappoint after we got suite on them and headed out for swimming and were quickly sent back to have to leave and not go swimming at all. What a disappoint and staff was not equipped to deal with the 50 angry parents all in the same situation as us. Breakfast was cold, line was ridiculous and they allow too many families to book for something they are not equipped to deal with apparently.

Called three times for a crib, did finally get one. Room wasn’t cleaned for the entire 3 days (Fri-Monday) we were there, requested towels, shampoo, garbage emptying - nope. We eventually just put our garbages full of diapers and take out boxes in the hallway. Spoke with cleaning staff one morning asking for cleaning, never done. Called front desk requesting restocking twice, no one came. Pool was closed for 6 hours for cleaning in the morning/mid day on Sunday. Rough stay for sure but great location!

so made a hold for a room on Expedia checked in up front payed a fee of 200 if something happens to the room or w.e mind you they said it’s was going to be refunded once i check OUT I checked out on 4/6/24 said it was going to take about 3/5 business days it is now 4/12/24 almost a week and still NO REFUND, Anyways husband payed for the room with his credit card because I forgot I didn’t have a lot of money In my account yea woke up with a NEGATIVE AMOUNT so the guy at the front desk charged me the 200 plus 229.34 and charged my husbands card as well the amount of 229 came up to them first thing In the Am said they don’t see anything but my husbands card being charged I also pulled my bank account and still DENIED everything had the audacity to blame my bank really? will a WISCONSIN STATE BANK LIE ? OR the Hotel With not just 1 but various of the SAME REVIEWS WITH THE SAME ISSUE? had to file a dispute with my bank hopefully I get my money back, never again, and I’m still wondering if they ever spoke to the person who did our check in but since it’s not their MONEY they obviously don’t care.

Upon checking in I was charge a $200 deposit. While I am used to security fees, this was higher than the price of the room and totally out of line. In addition, the AC in the room did not work. When I tried to call down to the front desk every call was answered and imediatley followed with someone hanging up. When I walked down to the front desk the single staff person was always busy with additional guests and never able to help me. I went to the desk no less than five times total over the two days. Upon checking out I asked for a receipt and was told it was a third party app and therefore they could not provide one. I informed the young lady that I paid at the hotel and singed the terminal so they should have a receipt . She stated no I did not and basically dismissed me. While not the fault of the hotel, the room was facing the pool and the screaming kids up until 10PM did not help my stay any. While hotels will always have an issue that needs resolved, the staff can make or break the stay. They were not available to help and made no effort to do anything about issues they were notified about.

The waffles were moldy, loud every night after 1030 pm, mold in the shower around the soap holders, we got checked into the wrong room unknowingly so housekeeping showed up 3 times that morning after repeatedly saying we did not want cleaning services before we were informed that there was an issue. A $200 hold is very excessive. My kids enjoyed the pool area. Lots of unsupervised kids for a birthday party.

Breakfast was super packed. I’d suggest expanding the space if possible. Otherwise it was a good breakfast. The pool chlorine was suuuper intense. My kids coughed a lot during and after swimming and ours eyes burned just sitting and watching. Fun pool for kids though! We got “talked to” about the kids not wearing their wristbands but they hated the feeling of them when they’re wet and begged for us to take them off. Unsure how to resolve that issue. Overall a good “staycation” location and obviously very convenient next to MOA!

Pool area was perfect for my children’s ages. Room was okay. We found some leftover trash/snack under the bed/dresser from the people before us. Front desk-each time we would go to the front desk, we would have to wait 20 mins. Only 1-2 people working during the busiest times. Also, our keys quit working after our first day. Shuttles drivers were too notch. CJ was awesome.

The hotel is clean and adequate but the building and furnishings are in need of maintenance. The shower rod in our bathroom was barely attached to the wall. The property was fully booked during our stay so some noise was expected but it was as though the walls were as thin as paper. You could hear anything said in the hallway that was louder than a whisper. The pool area is very spacious and has a splash pad but it is also worn out. There are places where the carpet is ripped and various hardware is just worn out. The staff were nice enough but did not give us enough information at check in. We weren't told the wifi password or that we had to request our room to be serviced. When we did request service, they asked if we just wanted towels or full cleaning including making up thr beds; we asked for full cleaning but the beds remained unmade. There is a breakfast but we have no idea what it is like because there was always an enormous line to get anything and there was not enough seating. Overall, it is a decent enough place to stay but temper your expectations and look at the price difference for the other nearby hotels - it might be worth any additional cost.
