Fly Away Cabin: Relax and enjoy the creek views and sounds.

  • Built in 2021, this cabin is a hidden gem at the base of Jack's Mountain on Penns Creek, a premier trout stream in central Pennsylvania. The cabin is on a stocked section with immediate access to the creek via a set of stairs. Fly Away Cabin is near an Orvis fly shop and has nearby access to snowmobile, four-wheeler and horse trails in a state park about 2 miles uphill from the cabin. 30 minutes from Bucknell University. 35 minutes from Susquehanna University. 1 hour from Penn State. The cabin is quiet, secluded, and away from city lights.

We had a great time at the cabin. The cabin was well furnished and clean. Ellice and Mike were very friendly and helpful. The large parking lot was nice for our ATV trailer. The local ATV Trail was perfect for us, mostly easy trails but a good mix of trail types. We fished and hiked and enjoyed the beautiful nature in the area. Also took a side trip to Knoebels about an hour away. Good memories for my grandson and I.

Peaceful Stay

The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed to stay for a week while our son was at camp. Mike and Ellise were very accommodating and helped with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a spot in the area to relax.

Peaceful oasis for weekend getaway

This awesome cabin was an ideal location for 3 days of fishing on Penns Creek. Quiet, clean and comfortable for my some and I. The host was incredibly helpful in booking, answering questions during our stay and flexible with the check out process. Can’t say enough about the place!

Our stay was wonderful, and the owners couldn't have been nicer to work with. The location is quiet, beautiful, and semi-remote.... just what we wanted. The cell signal in Millmont is weak, but the wi-fi at the house made up for it. We highly recommended the Rusty Rail for dinner and lunch. All in all a great stay!

Great location right on the creek. Wish it wasnt such a steep embankment to the water. Very peaceful and relaxing. Cabin is very nice with all the wood. The master bed could use an update, the sweaking is a little much.

This property was absolutely fantastic! Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Mike was great to talk to about the property and surrounding areas. I took my husband to fish for his birthday and Mike called to make sure we were ok and to even tell us where the best spots were to fish! I would absolutely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable

Had a nice relaxing weekend. House was very clean and comfortable. Right on Penns Creek. Husband was able to fish. Met the owner when he stopped by on Saturday morning. Very nice gentleman. Able to unwind and recharge. Pavillion with grill, table and propane fire pit was very nice.
