"Very clean rooms, breakfast was delicious "

"Check in was horrible. The young girl was very rude. She was outside somewhere originally. When I walked in no one was at the counter and I just waited there thinking someone was possibly in the back or helping someone. Once she walked inside she walked behind me and around the corner to the counter and I said hello. She never greeted me. In fact minutes go by and she said “you say something?” I said, I said hello. She said oh and sat down. A few more minutes go by and she said do you need something. She was rude and unprofessional the entire time she checked me. She was sarcastic and said oh I didn’t know if you were here for groceries. Being that it was 10pm and we were exhausted I did not escalate the situation and because she looked like a child, maybe 18. However, that’s no excuse to tolerate this behavior as a company and she should be properly trained if she’s going to be in hospitality. Everyone else was good. The person at the front the next day was pleasant and the room keepers were very nice. Breakfast could’ve been warmer but that’s not a huge deal. I can obviously see this young lady was a fluke however she put a very bad taste in my mouth for holiday express and I don’t think we’ll choose them again. "

"Horrible stay - mouse poop on the floor, bugs in the jetted tub and I have bed bug bites- we should have left when we seen the poop- horrible experience I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here "

"This property is amazing! It is set in the hills of the Ozarks not far from the lake and shopping, but very private on 3 acres bordered by woods, creek and hay field. We had too terriers with us and they roamed until their hearts were content and had a real time trying to catch a groundhog. It was a great adventure for them and totally wore them out.The check-in was flawless, as Cindy had the lights on and house ready for us. She was thoughtful to leave a goody bag for us with delicious chocolates and flavored popcorn. The house is wonderfully appointed with comfortable furniture, new appliances an everything was immaculate. Beds were very comfy with lots of blankets for the cool nights. Cindy has labeled every door and drawer with the contents which is a big help and the organization in the house is amazing! We were staying while visiting our son's family who lives in the area. For two evenings, 4 of them came over to visit and play cards and there was plenty of room at the table for all of us.We loved this place, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
