It's a stretch to call it a hotel. But this is privately owned by a small family who cater to your every need and are extremely welcoming, accommodating and appreciative. Do not book if you cannot climb 5 big flights of steps. Small bathroom, with low clearance for us folks over 5' but very well appointed. No shower screen, so water really pools in the floor of the bathroom after a shower. Decent view and nice small balcony. The area around this place is really ideal for getting around anywhere in Milan. The Porta Romana station is a 6 minute walk and from there the metro can take you everywhere. Also the street trams and buses are quite frequent and fairly on time in my experience. This is a historic building so imagine what it might have been like 50-100 years ago with whole families living in the building, going up and down the stairs. We are spoiled for luxury in this day and age. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thanks Fabio & Bianca!

Poor guest service

Apt was clean and Mgr David was prompt to let me in. There is no lift and 120 steps (8 flights) to the top. Bathroom is for short people, as beam runs through it. There was water leaking in bathroom and floors due to storm. The bathroom began to smell of urine. The owner did not offer to clean or move me. I cleaned the floor as not to slip. I asked owner for a refund for disrupt, owner refused. Poor Guest service.

Great location

Great location close to Metro. Extremely clean place. Host is very easy to contact and very helpful. The apartment is up a few floors with no lift so bear that in mind. Its a rooftop/loft style apartment so if you're any way tall, you might struggle with low hanging beams. Overall a very nice stay.

I loved the room, but it was 7 floors up which was hard with our luggage. My husband and I were fine in the bathroom because we’re short, but if you’re taller than 5.5, you may struggle in the bathroom.

Rent og pænt værelse egnet til to personer. Kun trappe til værelset som ligger, vistnok, på 5. etage. Døren til det lille badeværelse er meget lav og loftbjælker ditto, så det kan være lidt udfordrende. Jeg slog hovedet et par gange. Der var meget varmt på værelset, der ligger lige under taget. Airconditionenheden havde ingen effekt. Fint budgetsted som base for et besøg i Milano. Gode restauranter 10-15 mins gang fra lejligheden, bl.a. dejlig Michelinguide restaurant.
