As such, guests are free to use this space to play a variety of games as a group or absorb the blazing warmth of the sun. Plus, this property also showcases an expansive saltwater swimming pool that guests can use to relieve tired muscles after a long day of exploring the local sights. Alongside these luxurious amenities, this villa also offers a striking rooftop terrace that offers an array of panoramic views, partially of the Mediterranean Sea that sits nearby. And, of course, how can we not mention that guests at Villa Vista Mijas benefit from a door that opens up directly onto La Cala beach? You just step out, lay down on the gorgeous sand, and enjoy the stunning weather of the Costa del Sol.

The interior of this property is extremely bright and spacious, creating a very attractive and minimalist style throughout. As you enter the ground floor through the large front door, you will come across three impeccable bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms contain a spacious king-sized bed that has been decorated with a set of crisp white bed linens, and one bedrom contains a queen-size bed. Therefore, guests can ensure that they maintain a tranquil and restful night’s sleep throughout their trip. There is another room that contains a double bed, with a sliding door and en-suite toilet with designer tiles, pearl fishtail wallpaper, and a quirky high sink.

Moving upstairs to the first floor, the living area contains a white seating arrangement that perfectly compliments the matching walls, helping to build a sense of balance and cohesion. This space also provides access to a terrace with a dining table and barbecue, perfect for cooking up a feast outside. Guests can also enjoy an array of remarkable views as they snuggle up on the large sofa, as this property is located directly on the beach. The dining area also adheres to a clean and simplistic style, making use of a slim wooden table as well as an accompanying set of grey fabric chairs. In turn, guests are free to indulge in a series of delicious meals in this beautiful communal space. The kitchen collates a lot of darker motifs to help build a feeling of contrast and style. The use of dark grey cupboards helps to make this space incredibly nuanced and stylish, with integrated and high-end appliances such as a wine fridge and filtered tap. On this floor, you'll also find the fourth and final bedroom. This room hosts an expansive super-king bed and is perfect for guests who are looking for a bit more privacy from the rest of the group.

Head on further up to the rooftop terrace, where you can spend all day lounging and enjoying the stunning views of the beach and sea. Up here, you'll also find a sofa and table, perfect for enjoying a few cocktails under the Spanish sun. This truly is a mini paradise!

Mijas is an incredibly vibrant region that is teeming with an expressive array of tourist attractions and destinations. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, beaches, and more on offer for tourists! If you are looking to learn more about the far-reaching history of this region, a trip to Castillo de Colomares is a real treat. Despite its 15th-century exterior, this enchanting castle was actually built in the mid-1990s and acts as a shrine to Christopher Columbus and his discovery of America. The castle was designed by an acclaimed doctor named Esteban Martin and was constructed by two local brick layers. This monument is a key aspect of Mijas' popular culture and honestly has to be seen to be believed. Castillo de Colomares is based around 20 minutes away from Villa Vista Mijas and is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
 
Also about 20 minutes away from the villas, The Benalmadena Butterfly Park is located inside a Thai-inspired temple and allows guests to observe a wealth of enticing butterflies from an entirely new perspective. This temple is constantly heated to the high 20s, creating an ideal climate to support these beautiful creatures. In addition, this building hosts a rich blue roof that uses authentic tiles that were imported from Thailand, offering a more authentic look. Guests are encouraged to meander through the temple and interact with over 1500 species of insects and learn more about how they transform from a tiny egg into a colourful caterpillar and then into their final form.
 
For avid art lovers, the Centro de Arte Contemporaneo showcases a vast array of iconic European contemporary art pieces. This institution mainly focuses on the amazing works of Pablo Picasso, presenting over 130 pieces for guests to observe up close. Alongside these works, guests can also experience the surrealist works of Salvador Dali, who often used Malaga as a prime source of his creative inspiration. This museum also celebrates a variety of local writers collating a range of artistic sources in one unique location. The Centro de Arte Contemporaneo can be found around 40 minutes away and is open Wednesday-Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm. Whilst there, be sure to peruse the gorgeous streets of Malaga and discover what else it has to offer. We recommend checking out the Atarazanas Market, the Alcazaba, and the various delicious restaurants in the old town!
