「Fantastic Manor House converted to a great boutique hotel. I especially liked the dinner, wine and service. Breakfast was pretty extensive, with plenty for every taste. The bar has a terrace overlooking enormous ancient cedar trees and a golf course. Pretty damn good hotel.」

「Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. The menu is expensive but if you are at all foody, go for it. It was delicious. If you are more budget-orientated there's a bistro just...
