About this property

Haddens Haven in Miena, Tasmania

  • The house has a spacious living area, dining table seating 10 people, leather lounges, LED TVs with Foxtel and Blu-Ray player. Brand new kitchen with all the appliances needed to cook up a storm (slow cooker, electric frying pan, George Foreman grill, sandwich press, toaster etc).

    For the flyfisherman, there's a fly tying station with lots of hooks, fur & feathers for replacing your used flies.

    There is a restaurant and bar an easy 10 minute walk away. A hotel, service station and general store is located 7 kilometers away.

    The house is heated with a wood heater, and has a reverse cycle Daikin as backup. The stove has a gas cooktop, with an electric oven.

    A washing machine & dryer are available.

    We have added a dishwasher as well.

    An ensuite has been added to the main bedroom. With a 2-person spa bath, roomy shower and toilet.

    There is a gas bbq on the deck.

Well appointed property

The property was roomy and comfortable. House needed heating turned on prior to arrival as it was very cold. The main ensuite had a bad odor due to septic tank so we opened the window and closed the bathroom door. Not ideal in the middle of winter! The property suited our needs for our stay.

We had a family Christmas in winter, and while it didn't snow it was cold weather. But the house was lovely and warm with the heat pump and the wood heater. Very comfortable and had everything you would want. Would highly recommend.
