Location is just okay—it really depends on your goals. It appears to be a popular spot for cruise passengers. Lower Queen Anne is a quieter neighborhood, though like most of Seattle, there are homeless individuals and visible open drug use. At first, I was disappointed by the location, until I realized this is a reality across much of the city. The hotel itself is clean and the staff is great. The lobby feels dated and tired, but the rooms were comfortable. There are several nice restaurants within easy walking distance. If you don’t mind being away from downtown, it’s a solid budget-friendly option without feeling like a cheap motel. However, for just a few more dollars, you might prefer staying downtown to save on extra walking and Uber fees.
