So much to say here. First, let me assure you, I would stay here again. However, there were little issues throughout my stay that just kept popping up and were irritating.
-Our Internet on the TV did not work. Maintenance stopped up, looked at it and said, well maybe it will work tomorrow. HUH? (And spoiler alert: It didn't.) They offered for us to switch rooms, but it wasn't worth the effort.
-The bar at dinnertime was WAY understaffed, and the front desk was as well throughout the day. (Pro Tip to Marriott: Try letting customers order food and non-alcoholic drinks electronically and add those $30 daily resort credits to that account.)
-We set the temp in our room to 72, but it kept overriding and going up to 76. We had to decipher that system to figure out how to turn the automatic setting off. I realize this is eco-friendly, and I'm here for it, but I don't want to sleep in 76 degree temps. Maybe put a little sign next to the control so people can easily disable it and have housekeeping re-engage it after check-out?
-Finally, the message light on the phone would not turn off. When I first saw it and called down, I was told that it was like this in many of the rooms. Another head scratcher for me -- like, maybe FIX the problem???
Again, I would choose this hotel again, but those things were irritating and I hope Marriott can do better on my next stay.
