Convenient accommodation near Miami Beach

The room was clean and comfortable for a small hotel. Unfortunately, there is no parking lot. I was directed to a municipal parking lot, but the parking fee was high. There was also the option of a hotel with a parking lot.

The room, bathroom, and bed was clean and comfy. The only issue is when checking in took a hour and missed the comp drink. Also not up picking up the phone. Was a big !!! Many people that walked in and said the same thing, but denied it and that was a little odd. The small pool needs a redo.

The hotel is located on a busy street across from the Atlantic Ocean in Miami Beach. It’s a bit old and the carpet in the hallways need replacing. The maid service was spotty. When they finally cleaned the room they forgot to leave toilet paper, bath, washcloths and a floor mat. Also no hand towels are provided in the standard rooms? The front desk never picked up our calls but were very pleasant when talking to them in person. The one thing that really bothered me was there are no elevator(s) in the hotel. Good thing it’s only two stories tall. Since my wife and I are both seniors it would have been nice to know before we made the reservations. Or at least have one of the hotel staff member offer to assist us in getting our luggage up the stairs.

The surrounding neighborhood felt safe and walkable, with shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, a solid stay for the location.

Being so close to the beach made the stay very convenient. Quick walks to the ocean and back to the room were a big plus.

No hot water! Girl at front desk was rude! Did not speak English! Angel was great! Maintenance guy looked at water issue, said he could not fix. Bar/ cafe next door was awesome! Made the stay! Being nice goes a long way, the front desk girl should move to house keeping so she doesn’t have to deal with the public!!

It’s an older boutique hotel, the room was spacious but it inside and outside smelled moldy and damp. This place definitely looks better in the pictures.

This hotel looks nothing like the actual pictures, it is very deceptive! We ask for a refund and were told no that they have no way to that and that we would be charged anyway since our reservation date was already here. There were humidifiers going constantly in the hall ways to keep the moldy odor down. By our second day all of our clothes felt wet and smelled sour. The beds were so old they were sunk in, in the middle. We had 3 people in our room and were only allowed 2 towels and 1 wash cloth so we had to keep going down stairs to exchange. There is absolutely no parking on or even near the hotel. Parking is very expensive. When we ask how to access the beach we were told the best time to do that is during the day we could try to go through the Hilton across the way if someone staying there was going in or out. Otherwise we had to go down to the public park. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone!

This place should be renamed the fleebag motel. It is absolutely disgusting. Room reeked of mold. water damage everywhere. Had to walk through a restaurant to get to the room floor. Restarurant had ongoing issue with sewer back up. So had walk through dirty wet floors to get to room. Worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced anywhere.

No parking and no laundry room. They try to send u to there paid parking. Which is about $11 a hr. Go to allison park $1 a HR and 11pm to 8 am it's free. Nk microwaves . Gotta go all the way down stairs and bar cost $22 a drink. Fr smh...other than that awesome hotel.

The good, the bad, and the ugly. The ugly: checking in on January 16 around 6:30 PM the front desk person was rude by texting on her cellphone when I arrived. I stood at the desk without her even making eye contact with me or acknowledging that I was there for checking in, she was more interested on her phone than welcoming the customer. After she was done texting, she proceeded to check me in and there was never a smile or a warm manner to communicate. 2 days later I needed to ask her something and once again, her phone was her priority and zero friendliness from her part. The Bad: yes, I know it rains in Florida, yes, I know it pours sometimes; However, my room got a big leak from the ceiling that got the floor and surroundings wet. My husband went in person to the front desk to ask for towels to contain the water and ONE hr goes by and no one showed up with the towels. Luckily, we had the door open and someone who was a hotel worker walked by and I call her to show her how wet the floor was and she herself went and got extra towels. The shower door had mold around the edges and by the lower caulking, the door hinges, the shower tile mold, mold, mold. The shower needs deep cleaning big time!!! also, the first night, there was hair strands over the bed sheet, were the sheets cleaned or even changed? The Good: The restaurant that is by the hotel lobby has great food and the restaurant workers all were so nice and welcoming. Would not come back here again.

My stay was very uncomfortable!!! First of all, the hotel is misleading about the side parking. On the website they state that parking is available, but in reality they say, “Sorry, this is old information.” For me, this was extremely important!!! Parking nearby is very difficult. Secondly, it was important for me to have a kitchen, but the stove was barely working. There were cockroaches!!! And the neighbors in other rooms were very loud. The only positive thing was the polite front desk staff. Overall, I did not like staying at this hotel.

Room was okay, however, shower pressure NOT GOOD, friendly room cleaning staff. Parking was NOT at all what they said, extremely expensive and written wrong on their website and confirmation emails! The best part of our stay was at the restaurant on site (not part of the hotel) and our bartender Tamara was amazing, very friendly! Not sure I would stay again.

This hotel was basic but clean and comfortable. The property is older and in need of some updates but that did not bother us too much. The lack of an elevator to the upper floors can be a challenge if you’re carrying heavy suitcases like we were. The staff behind the desk was not super friendly. The location was great though, a short walk to the beach. The onsite restaurant was excellent. We arrived fairly late on a Friday night and it was great to be able to grab a quick dinner there and not have to search for something. Our meals were excellent and the wait staff super friendly. We enjoyed breakfast there the following morning, it was “ok” not fabulous but definitely adequate and convenient. All in all it was a good value for the price and I would stay here again especially if budget was a main priority.
