Upon arriving, we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come with a luggage cart. This was after asking 3 times. We unloaded the cart and waited at the curb as valet took our vehicle.
Upon leaving, we were told 5-20 minutes when we called down to get our car and bellman to the room. 30 minutes later, half of our party went down with luggage to start loading the car. Car was not there and valet was sleeping in the valet room. They knocked to wake him. When he called for another bellman (35 minutes after we already waited) we decided to go down with the rest of our luggage. The elevator was a 10 minute wait as they seemed to be jammed or stuck or something. We were on the 12th floor so stairs with our luggage was not an option. We finally made it down and had no time to stop for gas for the rental vehicle due to the time wasted in attempting to load up and leave.
Monday evening, the middle elevator got stuck while I was inside. There was a bellman in the elevator as well. I would hope they would have let someone know…but just in case…I’m letting y’all know. There seems to be a MAJOR issue with the elevators in the Sorrento Tower!
Monday, we called for towels…an hour later…nothing. We asked the cleaning crew in the hallway and they said they would get them to us. 25 minutes later, we were tired of waiting and just decided to head out of the room. There was a bag outside the door when we returned to the room.
Overall, the “stay” was good and the room was great. The service was NOT what I expected having had stayed at Fountainbleau several times before.
