「We stayed 3 nights in mid April. First, do not let the rainy season deter you. The rains did come in the late afternoons and the trekking was a little muddy, but I think it is likely the best time to gorilla trek and/or look for the golden monkeys. 「We were only here for one night, but Frances was a great host. The room as clean and comfortable, and he provided a good breakfast. We opted not to go to Volcanoes National Park, but Frances provided us with a great guide, who took us to Twin Lakes. On that trip we met MANY wonderful Rwandans out in the countryside, and saw beautiful scenery. 「チェックイン時、予約した部屋が用意されておらず、案内された部屋は浴室が狭くて汚いため、１泊はワンランク下の部屋に宿泊することとなった。他の宿泊客も多くはなく、ホテルはガラガラなのに全く理解できない。しかもフロントの従業員が謝ることもなかった。とても信じられない対応である。家具も調度品もチープで、特に１泊目に滞在した道路側の部屋は車の音で夜もうるさい。二度と利用しない。」

「My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived....
