Overall everything was fine. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Carpet needs replaced it's in poor condition. Restaurant wait staff really slow. The food was good

I stayed one night in Room2. It was well kept, nice and clean. A little bit worn, could use a refresh, but it was what I expected for about $100. I got a great night's sleep because it was really QUIET, which I appreciated. Live music from the bar was not at all an issue. The highlight for me was the shower head. Big with lots of pressure, and HOT. Overall a well deserved 4 star.

Get a little extra stimulation at the eis house

The place is haunted. Ringing bells in the night. Knocking on doors when no one is in the building. They recently had Syracuse paranormal there. They have video. Would I go back? Absolutely.. I'm not scared. I like this stuff. Great food and great alcohol. Owners are amazing. So besides the friendly ghosts it's a great place.

Very nice to have a little deck off my room overlooking the little Salmon River! Also nice that the owners also offer a little tavern on site where you can have a nice dinner! So all in all a very convenient, pretty property.

No signs for check in you have to go in the bar. The staff was great! The room was mostly clean and very quiet all things considered. No toilet paper anywhere. Nice place.

Easy check-in. Very quiet, safe area. Plenty of towels & bathroom toiletries. Included free Wi-Fi and full Dish network. The only complaint we have is that the room could use a larger tv. The one on the wall was quite tiny, but we were happy that it had all the channels that we needed.

Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nice that there is a bar and restaurant right on the property. Bed was VERY comfortable. Beautiful view of the river from the sliding glass doors that open to the private deck with table & chairs. Price is reasonable, room was very clean, but could use updating a bit. Heat register in bathroom was rusty as was the towel rack. Sliding glass doors in the back out to the 1st floor deck could not be locked, but this wasn't a high crime area so that did not worry me a lot (if my husband was not with me I probably would have been more concerned about it). Smoke Detector looked as if someone ripped it out of the ceiling—only dangling wires left. But, I would go back there again for the positives.

Great location. Be sure you call ahead for check-in....we didn't and found the place closed...owners returned call after a bit and let us in but it felt that we got lucky. Room was nice enough, beds very comfortable. The refrigerator did not work, and when we told owner nothing was done. Since the fridge didn't work we didn't cook and can't speak to the stove top. Attached bar/ restaurant is fun and friendly. Good enough food, definitely a local hang out and I liked meeting folks. It was definitely a step up from other places I have stayed in the area

This place could be outstanding with a little tlc. The setting by the river is fantastic and all the rooms have private decks. Birds, deer, bullfrogs all night. This is a great place to observe and enjoy nature. It needs redecorating and cleaning. Power wash the deck, clean off the chairs, and replace rusted bathroom fittings. The menu sounded great but the food was substandard and the price was crazy.

I don’t even know where to begin. The day of my check in I called the bar to make sure I was able to check into my room at 9pm. (Or I would have checked in around 3pm) the answer I received was “oh yeah we are a bar we will be open until 2am… just come up to the bar and we will give you your code”. She also verified my room number while on the phone. Fast forward to 9pm… I pull in and the entire place was SHUT DOWN. I had absolutely no way to get into my room. I called several times and left a message. I still have NEVERRRR received a call back from the Eis House. Luckily enough… I was able to check into my room because the codes on the doors to the rooms are one number off from the units. How safe!!!! When I entered the room the smoke detector was between the wall and the mini fridge, the wires were loose and hanging from the ceiling. I wiped off the surfaces in the room and the wipe was a black outline of my hand. The water pressure was close to zero. DO NOT STAY HERE. Not worth it. In any way shape or form. Worst experience ever.
