Ein schönes, großes Zimmer mit Wasserkocher, täglich 1 Liter Wasserflasche und Tee, Kühlschrank und Kasten mit vielen Kleiderhaken! Sehr gut! Das Bad für diesen Preis sehr gut! Das Frühstück war typisch Türkisch - sehr gut! Derzeit wird gegenüber vom Hotel die neue Metrostation gebaut, daher ein wenig Lärm. Zur Dolmus bzw Busstation nördlich und südlich des Hotels ca. 3min Fußweg - perfekt. Es fahren viele Busse über dem Bahnhof entlang des Meeres zum Forum. Der einzige Nachteil dieses Hotels ist die Unfreundlichkeit des Personals. Die Dame bei der Rezeption und die sehr nette ältere Putzfrau grüßt kein Angestellter, nicht einmal, wenn ich zuerst grüße! Ich fühlte mich nicht wie ein Gast! Sehr schade, weil sonst wäre dieses Hotel ausgezeichnet!

Comfortable Hotel with really lovely staff

The staff at the Sultan Hotel are all really helpful and kind. Nothing was too much for them. I visited on holiday with a friend and stayed a week with 2 nights away on a trip. We were the only women in the hotel. After spending the first night in a room at the front, which was very noisy from the street outside, I moved to a smaller double room at the back of the hotel which was cooler but got the noise from the cafe on the opposite corner, which went on until the early hours. The room was comfortable, with a little mini bar fridge and an en-suite shower room and the lovely chamber maids gave me clean sheets every day and kept the room spotless. The thick curtains kept daylight out and prevented people in the hotel opposite my room from seeing in. Breakfast is a buffet...avoid the orange juice which is Sunny Delight. Different cheese, fresh bread and savoury pastries, olives, cooked vegetables or eggs, chips and salad leaves. A variety of spreads, butter, honey and jam .There is chai or Nescafe with powdered milk.
