Need a peaceful setting for your vacation? Well here it is with 1.29 acres, 150 feet of Wisconsin River frontage, and a well equipped, large abode to spread out in. Family vacation memories last a life time. Check out the game room with air hockey, ping pong or newly added FOOS BALL (great for those rainy days or the 4 large TVs). Need a quiet moment while cooking up a storm in the well equipped kitchen? Send the kids out to make a snowman, find a real turkey feather or the old traditional snipe hunt? You can enjoy the use of a 3 person canoe and the 2 kayaks.
How about the warm sweet gooeyness of a campfire marshmallow or just caught fish on the grill? The large yard can be used for most any type of outside games. Or, if you just want to relax, picture your self in front of the fireplace with a good book or just a nap.

Homey cabin with a lot of space!
The Riverside Chalet was a great fit for our family of 5 for a long weekend ski getaway. There was a ton of room to spread out - more than we needed - and the house was well-equipped to suit most of our needs and wants. The only negatives were related to the location. (1) It's definitely in the boonies. If you want quicker access to food/groceries or non-wilderness activities, it's at least a 20 minute drive. (2) There's a railroad track less than 100 yds from the front door. Thankfully it's not a major thoroughfare for trains, but a few trains passing by were definitely noticeable. All that to say, if you're looking to truly be away from civilization, this place is your ticket.

2024 JB3 MTS Challenge
This was an absolutely perfect property for our little group. Eight of our family members stayed in the house and one local family member visited for dinner and breakfast. Three living rooms and a lovely dining area adjacent to the kitchen provided plenty of room for relaxing and socializing after each day of skiing. We availed ourselves of and enjoyed the fire pit on the bank of the frozen Wisconsin River during our last night in the house. I hope this home is available again next year when we visit Granite Peak.

A rug hooking retreat
Unfortunately we chose one of the coldest weeks and were greeted with frozen pipe issues. The manager greeted us and informed us of issues. He was easy to reach and helped with a toilet that wouldn’t fill and a tripped circuit breaker. The front rooms heat never warmed up during our stay. The kitchen is in sad need of updating and only two of the toilets were usable during our stay. With seven ladies there full time, that became an issue. One of the bedrooms also never heated. The manager placed a plugged in heater for her use. Because I worked for a Fire Station I was particularly concerned with some fire hazards and was aware of some wiring concerns. Sadly, we will not stay there next year but hopefully will find something else in the area.

A little piece of Heaven
October is a wonderful time to be in Wi, beautiful property, lots of room. Great time for everyone. We were here for a funeral of a much l9ved Grandmother. Sitting around the campfire reminiscing about her life and the times we all had with her. It was a perfect way to celebrate her life. Thank you!

Nice House on the River
The house is simple and nice. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a few friends to use as HQ for a bike adventure. Communication was very clear. No issues with check-in. Big, beautiful property on the river.
