Great cabin in perfect location

This cabin has plenty of space for a family vacation. Lots of outdoor space, plenty of space in kitchen for cooking, and a great location in Mentone.

Quiet & peaceful cabin

The cabin was perfect for our group. Easy driving distance to all the tourist venues at Ruby Falls & Rock City. Very quick drive to DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon. It is so peaceful and the host and property manager were wonderful!

Awesome cabin

We really enjoyed this cabin. The cabin was clean and very roomy. The pool table was a hit for all of us. It was in a great location just a few minutes from desoto state park and about 15-20 minutes to Ft Payne. I highly recommend staying here.

Very nice family cabin

Comfortably room for 8 people plus the couch and futons. We liked that beds/baths were spread over three floors. We had 4 adults and 2 children - the basement has a double bed and a twin with trundle so that worked for the kids and we didn't use the loft bedroom. Cabin is easy to access from a main road. It is a great base for a family trip. Kids loved the pool table, hot tub and the big rocks to climb on. I only gave 4 stars because there is no mountain or water view. However, the location is quite private from other cabins and there is room to explore and play outdoors. Mentone has the feel of the Smokies without the long drive and over commercialization. It's a great place to relax and only a short drive to lots of attractions and views. We have stayed in Mentone 4-5 times and stayed at different cabins each time. So far this was our favorite. Hope to stay again.

This property suited our needs very well. May need to consider some pre-arrival sweeping, cleaning on porches, doorways to eliminate spider webs, etc. It gave the impression of being vacant for an extended period. Interior rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Some spider activity in the downstairs rooms.
