Experience historic Memphis in style at this beautifully renovated Midtown mansion known as McLean Manor — a rare gem that combines old-world character with modern comfort, perfect for large families, reunions, corporate gatherings or groups of friends. This unique property includes two separate homes — the expansive 5-bedroom main house and a charming 2-bedroom guest house in the back of the property — offering space, privacy, and luxury all in one unforgettable stay.

The Space:
The Main House:
Originally built in 1925, this stately mansion has been thoughtfully reimagined into a sprawling 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath retreat with 11 beds, including two comfy futons. The Main House features:
- Two fully renovated kitchens with modern appliances and ample space for meal prep and entertaining.
- A grand formal dining room perfect for shared meals and celebrations.
- Four separate living rooms, including a massive third-floor suite with 2 queen beds, an ensuite bath, and a lounge area ideal for teens or a second family.
- A stunning main living room with a grand piano, adding a touch of classic elegance.
- Smart TVs in every bedroom for private entertainment.
- A private hot tub just behind the main house — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

The Guest House:
Separated from the main house by a spacious parking pad, the guest house is a private 2-bed, 2-bath suite located on the second floor of the Back House. It features:
- An open-plan kitchen and living room with direct access to a large walk-out balcony.
- Its own private hot tub, ideal for a quiet soak under the stars.
- TVs in both bedrooms and plenty of natural light.

Together, these two homes offer a total of 7 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and multiple living areas, making it perfect for groups that want to stay together without sacrificing space or comfort. Whether you’re planning a group getaway, family celebration, or friends’ weekend, this Midtown mansion is your ideal Memphis retreat — stylish, spacious, and close to everything the city has to offer.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the whole front house and the second floor of the back house and the entirety of the property with exception of garage in back house.

The Neighborhood:
Nestled in the heart of Midtown Memphis, this historic neighborhood is one of the city’s most vibrant and charming areas. Tree-lined streets, classic architecture, and a strong sense of community make it a favorite for both locals and visitors.
You’ll be just minutes away from some of Memphis' most beloved spots:
- Overton Park, home to the Memphis Zoo, Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, and Overton Park Shell (where Elvis gave his first paid performance and they have 40+ free concerts a year!).
- Overton Square and Cooper-Young, two bustling districts packed with great restaurants, lively bars, coffee shops, and boutique stores.
- A short drive or ride-share to Downtown Memphis, Beale Street, FedEx Forum, and the National Civil Rights Museum.
The neighborhood is walkable and welcoming, with plenty of green space, art, and culture at your doorstep. Whether you’re here for music, food, family fun, or just to relax, Midtown offers the perfect balance of city energy and residential comfort.

Getting Around:
Unless walking in the neighborhood or to Overton Square/Park, then driving and Uber/Lyft are the only option. Public bus system is very poor.

Other Things to Note:
Fedex is headquartered just 5 miles down the road and planes can be heard going over head every few minutes at specific 20-30 minute periods at specific times during the day or night. It is common almost anywhere in Memphis to hear and see the parade of planes coming through. It is all part of Memphis' sounds and charm.
