The hotel is new but runs like it's been open for years. The staff were super professional, on pointe, and always find that level between professional serious andpersonable/ fun/passionate which we loved. The hotel is fun and cool and unexpected, and that flows through to the service and food.
Everyone was passionate about what they do and it shows. Attention to detail in the room, cellar door, doot doot doot, housekeeping, the check in staff everyone, was amazing. The small things make it special - The art, the finishing, the turn down service, the pool, the views, the design, the cutlery and crockery!
Doot doot doot was just as if not more amazing than melbourne hatted places. I'll expect a hat from them in the coming year. We had the 4 courses, got into their wines and whiskey on offer. Staff were knowledgeable and passionate and - had hands down the best dessert (choc) and sherry match I have ever had. Overall on par with Vue DaMonde and Dinner by Heston. Keep up the work! The pumpkin was our fave- mind blowing!

Our only thing was being able to see and hear someone on the toilet in the bedroom. Clear as day. A designers flaw deeming practicality less important than design. We overcame this by having a laugh about it and using the bathrooms near doot doot doot. If they addressed this, I would have nothing to fault the hotel on.
