The Space:

Gruyere Falls by Tiny Away is nestled in the scenic township of Gruyere, just an 11-minute drive from the town of Lilydale past Coldstream, and only an hour from Melbourne. What's more, the tiny house serves as a serene entry point to the Yarra Valley, surrounded by sprawling vineyards and lush orchards.



You can also check out must-see sites like Gulf Station, Alowyn Gardens, and the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie. Enjoy a trip to Puffing Billy, Sky High and Kalorama Lookouts and shop on boutiques and galleries in Healesville and Olinda.



After exploring, guests can unwind beside a beautiful natural recreational pond and waterfall nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Yarra Valley. Designed as a completely natural water environment, it creates a peaceful setting where guests can immerse themselves in nature and enjoy the sound and feel of flowing water. This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home offers easy access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette equipped with cooking essentials, and well-appointed bathroom facilities. These include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home, the undercover barn area, the firepit area, the recreation pond and waterfall.

- We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in. Unfortunately, we can’t provide a refund for cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in.



The Neighborhood:

Gruyere Falls by Tiny Away is just 11 minutes from Lilydale, past Coldstream, and only an hour from Melbourne, nestled in the heart of the Yarra Valley.



Located close to many local attractions, you’ll find Gulf Station and Alowyn Gardens just a short drive away. Take a ride on the Puffing Billy steam train, enjoy breathtaking views from Sky High and Kalorama Lookouts, or spend the day exploring boutique shops and galleries in Healesville and Olinda.



For a unique experience, visit Yarra Valley which is home to over 80 world-class wineries. Gruyere Falls is within 10 minutes of Rochford, Domaine Chandon, and Tarrawarra Estate with many gourmet restaurants and beautiful vineyard views.



Nature lovers can walk the Warramate Hills Reserve, cycle the Warburton Rail Trail, or visit Healesville Sanctuary for native wildlife. Other beautiful spots include the Cement Creek Redwood Forest, Alfred Nicholas Gardens, and the Kokoda Memorial Walk.



Getting Around:

By car:

- From Melbourne it takes 1hr to travel the 50km to Gruyere.

- Gruyere is surrounded by the Townships of Coldstream, Seville and Wandin and is close to Lilydale and Yarra Glen.

- Our property is reachable by 2WD



By public transport:

- Guests can travel by train from Melbourne to Lilydale and then a taxi to the property.

- Transportation from the tiny home to the nearest towns is an easy drive or pre-booked taxi services can also be used.



Other Things to Note:

- Free Drinking water

- Gas BBQ (Webber Q) is available

- Children welcome with guidance

- Family-friendly accommodation

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays will incur an additional charge

- Smoking is permitted outdoors, including the covered barn area

- Mobile reception is good for Telstra and Optus, while others have no coverage.

- Before leaving, please wash used dishes and place used towels and tea towels in the shower.



Important note:



- Due to the nature of the property, be aware of reptiles and insects

- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban. Fire pit use subject to seasonal fire restrictions and weather conditions.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
