I choose to stay here quite often when I return to Medellín because of the location, it’s clean and you usually have great views. The gym is okay. Unfortunately, the breakfast area continues to feel crowded and there’s very little storage space in the rooms if you’re staying longer.
The view from the rooftop was expectatcular and from my room balcony too. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly. Security in front of the hotel always. Was my first solo travel and feel very safe in this area. The only downside was the continental breakfast, I think should have more variety. But overall, I love it. And I will stay again definitely.
Hotel is in a good location. Even with all the lively night life the noise is not noticable. I had the street view balcony and slept with the door open no problem. Breakfast was mediocre at best. There was no safe. Mattress was firm but comfortable. Most hotels mark the price up on the mini bar in the room but the prices were only slightly higher then store prices. It was my first time staying in Laureles. I'll probably start staying there opposed to Poblado.

Liked: Cleanliness
The check-in process was fairly quick, which I appreciated. I also called twice ahead of time to inform the hotel about my delayed flight and requested a nice room, but we were assigned a room on the second floor.
Unfortunately, the room was very loud and noisy. It was located directly above the dining area and conference room, and noise started as early as 4 a.m., which made it difficult to rest. There were also unknown people hanging around in the lobby, which felt uncomfortable.
On a positive note, the room itself was clean and tidy. Breakfast, however, could be improved. We also had to request an iron and additional towels, but the iron was never delivered.
Overall, while there were some positives, the noise issues and unmet requests impacted our stay.
Been here many times before. Good hotel but the included breakfast has been getting worse and worse. At this point, not even worth waking up for. Time for a new hotel choice.
The hotel sits in a busy nightlife area. The noise at night is ongoing until 4am. Also, the bathroom toilet paper is in one of those dispensers that holds a big round roll. However it is difficult to keep the toilet paper from breaking, and then you have to dig underneath to find the start of the paper again. If I stay again, I will bring my own toilet paper, less hassle. Otherwise, a very nice room, comfortable bed, nice shower. Breakfast was so-so. Very nice staff.
Avoid booking this property. It’s easily the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had and offered zero value for money. The main issue is management that simply doesn’t care—the place runs on autopilot. The staff seem embarrassed but powerless to fix anything.
The lobby feels like a shopping mall crossed with a railway station—crowded, noisy, and full of vendors. My first room was dark, windowless, and so noisy I couldn’t sleep. Not all rooms have safes, which just adds to the stress.
Breakfast was an insult: guests are asked to choose between scrambled or boiled eggs, like children at a school canteen. The bread was stale, and the “buffet” didn’t exist.
The gym equipment barely worked. Overall, a depressing, noisy, poorly managed hotel that took away from my holiday. There are far better, calmer, and more professional places to stay in Medellín.
The hotel is perfect for young groups and short stays. The location is the best part BUT because you are around everything it’s extremely loud when you go to bed party there ends 4..5…6 am staff was great breakfast times should be extended it’s 7-9 am after partying til 3 not many will make breakfast. If you add and pay for breakfast that is. If I can describe its like a dorm room in a hotel. It was a great spot though friendly staff if you want peace and quiet at night - not the place
The views of the room balcony were amazing, the hotel is in a busy area and in the lobby you hear everything but in the room was quiet another atmosphere. The food was balanced but limited. But good. The employees were cordial and friendly. I recommend.
