Thanks to Lydia, who welcomed us with an upgrade to the next room class, a junior suite. The room was bigger than what we had booked and we enjoyed the space. We stayed on the third floor - the junior suite looks to be newly renovated so it is clean and modern, with a basic design. The location is not bad - it is walking distance to many places. Without the good service of the staff and the location of the hotel, I will have rated 0. There are several fundamental flaws with the hotel design and structure:- 1) rain shower was not working and the water pressure is pathetic - but this is still acceptable for us as we are not fussy. 2) sound proofing is poor - you can hear the traffic sounds such as every passing loud motorbike - and this goes on all night. As we had requested for a quiet room, our room was supposedly a quieter room already so… there may be rooms that are noisier. 3) apparently, there is a karaoke lounge just at the back of the hotel - they play music all day and night so we heard low base rumbling through the night and day, and also get to ‘enjoy’ the singing of the karaoke lounge’s patrons during the day. 4) breakfast buffet was the worst we have ever tasted - full of salt in everything, and not much refill when we arrived at breakfast around 8:30am. I also got food poisoning from eating some of the meat dishes, that others did not take. Stay here only if you can sleep through loud traffic and music. Importantly, eat at your own risk.

Property was dated, even the so called renovated rooms had problems. I stayed there for 2 nights. At the 1st room, air conditioning didn't work properly, hot all night long. The shower room flooded. The sink clogged. We needed to change room. The next room was okay, but it was a smoking room with tobacco smell everywhere.

Fantastic service, consistent with the Radisson brand. Close to all the food that Medan is known for. Hospitality is out of this world. They go way out of their way to take care of the guests. Had a wonderful staycation at this opulent looking hotel. Didn’t disappoint. Room was spacious and luxurious. Most impressed by their breakfast buffet, with a menu of ala carte items included in the buffet. My favourite was the omelette with lobster sauce. Each dish was well prepared and lovely! Highly recommend. The bathtubs are amazing, the pool is glorious, and the gym has a good amount of weights and other equipment.

The best hotels in town with their luxurious and elegant vibe. They have very good and cozy beds, fast internet for work, clean carpets and very comfortable bathroom to relax and could not be happier with their strong shower and Luxury Brand bathroom amenities (RITUALS COLLECTION). They have super-comfortable, super-soft sheets and cosy Super-White Bath Towels in their rooms that are Fresh and Fluffy, and Brand New. Apart from their great rooms, their food is the best out of the hotels in Medan that we have ever tried. Breakfast and dinner, they are all enjoyable for us for different types of occassions. Exceptional hotel with exceptional service! All the staff were friendly and welcoming, they always give their best in providing the best possible stay for guests! WORLD-RENOWNED hotel offering unique, authentic experiences that evoke lasting, treasured memories. I had a chance to stay at Radisson Medan for 8 nights. Located at the heart of Medan, this high class hotel doesn't disappoint me at all. It was a very expensive stay but worth every penny paid. I even booked my airport-hotel transfer with them and I was very well taken care of from the moment I got off my plane. Great location, awesome service, delicious breakfast, friendly and help staffs, clean room and everything else is just beyond my expectation. For the amount paid, this is definitely worth it. You get exactly what you pay for!

New Hotel, Modern Rooms, Superb Staff & Service! What I like about this hotel, room is Super-clean, spacious with panoramic views of Medan. Bed is super comfy and they provide quality amenities like RITUALS Shower gel, shampoo etc. Gym is a must go, it is relaxing to exercise with greenery view around you. Last but not least, most importantly, staff are polite and professional. I had problem with local SIM card on day of arrival and could not connect to data network. A helpful lady staff at reception helped me with the card registration and solved my issue. I will definitely choose this hotel in my next visit.

Excellent value for money hotel
Great location, nice big bed. Great value for money, especially after a weekend of camping in the jungle. 1 hour away from international airport.

The pool was a bit small to do laps. The 2 lifts were a bit slow in serving those who stay on higher floors. There was however an unpleasant experience whereby we were not told clearly on the pricing of hotel breakfast. There was apparently a kind of miscommunication whereby some of my friends were upset about paying a bit more when checking out.

Visit to Medan for my visit my son, 2½ years old.
The service allover very good. In the restaurant at breakfast the waitress (think name Iri or something similar) is so friendly and assisting and should have the best recommendation. Condition of room is fair, the bathroom the shower does not really get hot and the drain almost stopped so that fter short time you have 5 cm water in shower area. Pool area fine, though the area for children is 80 cm deep allover and not really for small children. The small children needs a better pool area.

Great value for money
We stayed in Four Points Medan for four nights and enjoyed our stay. The gym is well equipped and the pool area is clean. The decorations in the lobby and lobby bar are amazing. The bed was good but there is some wear-off on the carpets and showers of the rooms. Also there was some kind of a party in the ninth floor and we had to listen to speeches the last night 😁

Highly recommended
Our main purpose was to visit Lake Toba but we decided to find a hotel to stay overnight at Medan before heading to Taman Simalem Resort. Two rooms were books and we were absolutely impressed with the hospitality from Alvin, Henny and Fandi at the front desk. The newly renovated room at level 2 was very clean and comfortable. I also like the fact that it is not-carpeted = dust free. We slept well with minimum disruption due to my sensitive nose. We had ala carte breakfast and they were reasonably price and decent. We did not opt for the buffet as it is quite pricey for small eater like me. Radisson hotel is located at a prime area where famous bakery, Bolu Meranti, newly opened cafe CoffeeScape, yummy Seafood and Plaza Medan Fair are within few minutes walk. Most importantly the great service is definitely warm and welcoming for first timer like us in Medan.

A safe bet and great property
Overall I enjoyed my stay at Radisson Medan hotel. I was mainly interested in comfort and convenience for a business trip, so this property suited me. Good wifi, meticulous housekeeping each day and professional, friendly service. The quality bedding was a nice touch in these parts and ensured comfort and great sleep. The location was fine for me with everywhere being within a few dollars via Grab Car. There’s a 24/7 mini mart adjacent and a Carrefour-Transmart supermarket within the mall 500m along Jl Gatot Subroto.

Sweat smell sheets, noisy area, bad Housekeeping
Disappointing with overall, seems the property was bought over and had a different name. Everything was old, in the midst of upgrading certain areas. I had extended half a day as my flight was at night. No Housekeeping was done to the room and when I requested for change of towels, it never came. A vast difference as compared to Radisson India.

Good hotel in city center
Good hotel at a great location of city center. Close distance to shopping and culinary spots. The room is clean and the staffs are friendly.

the hotel is ungoing changing of ownership the new owner had renovated the hotel quite nicely compare the first time i visit this hotel.. maybe it was just renovated rooms are nicely done except the swimming pool is gone and the breakfast still need improvements. overall is worth the money.
