Cherish the Memories with a Perfect Family Getaway

You will love the memories you will be creating with the beautiful view of the dunes from the 400 feet of private beach front and it is only one mile from the entrance to the dunes and 1 mile from Lake Michigan.

This cottage has an excellent set up if you have young kids as there is a play area. The play area includes an oversized sand box and a swing set.

There is also a gas grill, deck furniture (deck in front and in back,) and fire pit.

This perfect getaway also includes access to the clubhouse which features WiFi, a ping pong table, and a basketball/ tennis court. You will also have access to the heated pool and to the boat launch.

After a long day of fun in the sun you can enjoy a beautiful sunset while relaxing on the front deck or sunrise if you are an early riser.

There are two bedrooms; one bedroom contains a queen size bed which also includes a washer and dryer in the room. The second bedroom contains a bunk bed with a single bunk on top and full size bed on the bottom and It is a very open layout and contains a full kitchen to include stove, microwave and refrigerator.

It is located in an excellent location on a private drive. There is a spot to moore your boat on the private beach access. It is located right off of Silver Lake Rd between Mac's Dune Rides and Silver Lake State Park. It is close to Dunetown Shopping Center, exactly 1 mile from Craigs Cruiser's, and less than 10 minutes from the entrance to the dunes and to Lake Michigan.

This is the perfect place to create lifelong memories your family will cherish.

Erica was a great and responsive host. No frills, cozy, and quaint cabin perfect for a small family. Our boys had fun in the community play area in the back shared by other cabins with all the other kids staying nearby. Also great that it’s a short walk to the pool. Starting out the day with a view of the dunes from the front patio was nice.

Nice property. Only 4 of us went so we didn't check out the sleeper sofa. Small place but nice. Loved that it had a community pool, playset, & other games so we didnt have to travel far for some fun. The shower water temp would switch to a cooler temp for a second or 2 but then go back to hot so it wasn't too bad. Small stove & counter space but manageable. All in all, it was a good rental.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location near the dunes and lake Michigan. Also very short walk to sandy beach area on Silver Lake. Our kids enjoyed playing in the heated pool every day.

Location is nice, very friendly neighbors. Personally, I am sensitive with hairs on bedding linen from unknown source after check in, glad that I brought our own bedding sheets. Some food debris on the dinning chair as well. If you are spending multiple days, please consider to bring some napkins, paper towel and toilet paper or prepare to buy from the gas station.

My family really enjoyed our stay here! The only down side was that there was absolutely no service on any of our phones so when we had trouble getting in we couldn’t reach the owner on our cell phones. We had to ask a neighbor if we could use their phone to contact the owners. The only WiFi that was available was at the club house so if you needed to make a phone call you had to go there. Overall it was a great stay but be prepared to be in a dead zone for your phones.

We had a great week long family vacation. I sat out front on the deck every morning with my coffee looking at the amazing view of the dunes. On the 1st day we had seen a storm come in over Lake Michigan black sky over the white sand of the dunes pretty cool!. I would definitely come back.!! Strongly thinking about coming back next year.!!!

Great view from deck. Knick knacks everywhere. Broken down mattresses that lean and kids fall out of bed from the tilt. Bedding dusty and not washed. Bunk bed with exposed metal that kids bump their heads on when getting into bed. Pillows with excessive drool stains!! Kitchen accommodationsare not much but there is a great fridge and freezer but dishes old with old oil residue/odor on dishes. Water temperature inconsistent and extremely hot! Temperature changes unexpectedly causing extreme chance of a burn. Shower is indescribable in that you step down at least a foot from the floor level to get into the shower. Kids didn't want to go into the lake for vacation because they would have to get into the creepy shower after a swim. Swimming great but having to take a shower after was a deterrent. Spiders in corners and no vacuum on site to clean up what the cleaning person missed and a lot was missed. I had to spend a couple of hours cleaning with supplies I brought to be able to put our clean items within the cottage. We made the best of it but it was far from clean and accommodating. It was such a disappointment that it did get us outside more than ever so we didn't have to be in the rental.

This cottage and surrounding area was great for our week long getaway. The cottage had ample room and everything we needed to cook all of our meals. It was decorated so nicely, felt very homey. The wash/dryer was super convenient. The kids loved the sandbox out back too. The super warm pool was great for the chillier days and the clubhouse was entertaining too. We loved Silver Lake, which was just a short walk away, the dunes were great to climb and the Bach on the dunes side was beautiful and great for swimming. We went on a dune ride, to a petting zoo, a dairy farm and drove to Pentwater for a day. It's a great place to vacation, we will definitely be coming back. The owner made this experience great!

This cottage is very nice for a small family. It is close to the beach and easy access to the main strip. The cottage has had access to a wide variety of activities for children such as the pool, swing sets, the beach and ping pong tables. The cabin is well stocked with most amenities to cook. Our family had a great week!!!
