A pond with a ton of bluegill kept us busy during the day, and s'mores were enjoyed around the fire pit(s) at night. This is a beautiful area of IL and we can't wait to come back! "The cozy cottage was just as described and perfect for a mom-and-daughter getaway. It had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, and lovely little details like a coffee bar stocked with delicious local coffees. It's an easy walk to the lake and downtown. We would stay here again and highly recommend!"
