"Amazing stay. The room and property were gorgeous and the view was even better. It was a short walk to restaurants and the main pedestrian street in Taormina. Just far enough away to be relaxing but close enough to be convenient. I highly recommend staying here!"

"I couldn’t falter my stay at Terra Rossa. A small residence set among beautiful gardens with great views. We had a studio overlooking the Isola Bella Island. The patio is perfect sized for an evening unwind. The studio provides everything you need and is cool. The pool area is never too busy. Staff are friendly and helpful. "

We loved the fresh breakfasts every morning before we headed out for the day and the cozy beds when we returned at night. The B&B was right across the street from the beach and we spent each morning strolling the boardwalk to start our day. "My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer. What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a charming, relaxing vibe, and the staff made me feel completely at home. A special mention goes to Mohammed at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. Whether I needed directions, recommendations, or just a friendly conversation, Mohammed was consistently attentive and thoughtful. His hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a hotel with a great location and genuinely caring staff, the Splendid Hotel is a fantastic choice. I am already looking forward to my next visit!"

"I loved this property and will stay again! There was 4 of us and we stayed for 6 nights. The staff were amazing- kind attentive genuinely helpful. The room was quite clean beautiful and bright with a view overlooking the sea. The breakfast was basic but good and the dinner was delicious. We went out most days nights because we wanted to see the surrounding area. Location is great - you can easily walk to the cable car however if you’re from the states this may feel scare as they don’t have a side walk and cars go very fast. At one point the bus came past us and it felt like the scary instagram reels. You do get used to it and locals walk these narrow roads often. If you don’t feel like walking the staff will call you a cab and it was only $20 each way for 4 people which is actually less expensive then the cable cars. There is also a bus stop 20 feet from the entrance. Other great experiences were the beach and service at the beach. The beach is private and there is an attendant to help you with seating towels drinks and etc. right next door there is a place to borrow kayaks and paddle boards. The view was amazing and overall it was an incredible stay!!"

"We loved this hotel. It's in a beautiful location, and a short walk to the cable car which takes you into Taormina/Corso Umberto (shops, restaurants, exploring, people watching etc). The staff, concierge, service in all areas of the hotel and cleanliness was outstanding. Amazing breakfast selection, great restaurant and amusing entertainment in the evening. Nice pool area, and sun deck, although to get into the sea, you need 'swimming shoes' as the bottom is rocky. The gym could have been bigger, it's in a glass cube which gets the sun very early. It was over 30 degrees at 7.30am which made the workout harder that it should have been! Great view though! There's train line behind the hotel, which I hadn't seen mentioned in other reviews, although it didn't impact us, as it was relatively quiet. Overall we loved this hotel, would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future. "

"The location is perfect to explore Taormina with shops, restaurants and tourist attractions within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself is unique built into the cliff and the views are breathtaking. The pool is clean is spacious and always had sun loungers available. Our room was fairly basic but it was extremely clean! The front desk could be a little bit more friendly, but overall the staff across the hotel were fine. Be aware that the hotel does not offer an iron or ironing board, which was pretty inconvenient. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel due to its location in Taormina. "
