"The property was as presented and in a quiet beautiful cove off of the river. I enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings having coffee and looking at the view. Marcella was quick to respond to any questions we had. This is a great spot for a quiet vacation away from everything."

"We had a wonderful time at Riverside. There was everything you need and I can not think of anything to suggest to make it better. Riverside is a beautiful house, yard and pier. The house was immaculate, needed supplies were right there, like trash bags, zip lock bags, plenty of dishes and cookware. The bathrooms were great, large showers and soap, shampoo and lotion provided. There was a basket with snacks when we got there so we did not have to rush out to the grocery store. The pier was great, plenty wide and the dock was a good size. We caught fish, saw dolphins and they seemed to be playing as they went by. We had a great time and all is well : )."

"We had such a fantastic time at this property. The home is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and in a perfect location right on the water. We especially loved the peace and quiet… it was ideal for unwinding. The sunrises over the sound were breathtaking every single morning, and having direct dock access made fishing convenient and fun (we were out there almost the entire visit!).The board games provided great evening entertainment for the family, and the kitchen and living areas were well-equipped for cooking and relaxing. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. We truly hated to leave and would book again in a heartbeat. Thank you for creating such a special place!Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront escape.For my fellow fishermen/women: we caught pinfish, croakers, seatrout, and big stingrays. Bring your cast net for all the bait you could need! Also grab some bug spray for the mosquitos that inevitably show up to annoy the heck out of you!If you happen to be traveling at Fourth of July… you are in for a treat! A neighboring home put on one of the biggest private fireworks displays I’ve ever seen!"

"“Blown Away” was a great place to stay and accommodated my family of four plus my sister-in-law and her two daughters. The view was awesome and it was so nice to sit on the dock and swim and watch the water. There were a couple minimal issues but the owner went out of her way to quickly alleviate them. We had the transformer to the house go out during our stay and the owner was quick to get the city electric company out to handle it. The house is off the beaten path but well worth the peace and quiet."

"Pros: Pretty country setting, easy check in and check out, good communication with owners, friendly neighborhood dog, lots of room for big families, well stocked with games. Cons: Couldn’t be outside at night to enjoy the fire pit because of the mosquitoes. BRING BUG SPRAY! Hot water heater makes using the downstairs bathroom or tub impossible, they never get warm. Front screen door handle falls off every time you open it. Nice overall house, old farm house with quarks. Quiet location outside of the beach, easy daily drive to Nags Head."
