We had a great stay, all the staff were very polite and attentive, answered all our questions about the area and also very informative about the food and wines they were serving, we were very pleasantly with the service the location and the condition of the hotel, unfortunately we were not there long enough to sample the spa but did get a tour from the young lady at the spas reception who explained everything. A wonderful experience cant fault it.

hotel located in ZTL. car parked outside the monument and hotel will sent car to pick you up to the nice and quite hotel. staffs are helpful and nice.

The property was lovely and great location. Staff were exemplary. Two areas for improvement - the wifi connection was inconsistent and not easy to connect to. Also we believed there was an outdoor pool based on the website description and were disappointed to learn it was only for the suite.

Staff at the hotel were great. We stayed 2 nights and it was very hot. Unfortunately the air con can’t cool the old building when it is this hot. So room was quite warm. Staff provided fans. Also jacuzzi pool is not complementary. Lovely old building though, easy to find etc.

The property is amazing and some of the staff are first class professionals, keen to look after you. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience when a personal possession went missing from a bag in my room. So far the hotel has failed to retrieve my item or work out who had access to the room to take it.

Hotel is very well located within the historic district facing on the same plaza as the Duomo (get ready for many, many staircases throughout the area). Parking (which is free) is at a sister property outside the historic area, a good 10-15 minute ride via an on-demand shuttle van. Our room, a jr. suite, had an older vibe - stone walls, older furniture but was clean and had operable windows with a view. We dined one night in the upscale hotel restaurant - food was good if not memorable. The breakfast buffet was typical of hotels of similar quality. Staff was helpful in answering questions and helping us design a walking route. Outside bar was closed during our early November visit. A good choice for a Matera visit.
