"We thoroughly recommend La Taillade, having just spent a most enjoyable fortnight there. The house is very handsome, offering complete rural privacy at the end of a driveway through sunflower fields. The views beyond the house over the valley below are gorgeous. "Séjour agréable, la résidence de plein air est agréable et bien entretenue.
En revanche, on a eu beaucoup de difficultés à les joindre car il s'est avéré que leur box était HS, pas possibilités de faire les CB, (caution et paiement), et on n'a pas pu du tout joindre l'établissement pour préparer notre arrivée, et cela nous a valu des sueurs froides, car on ne savait pas comment récupérer les clefs -, sachant que c'était un dimanche . On a dû changer notre agenda, pour arriver pendant les heures...

"Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans cette maison. Elle est spacieuse (nous étions 9), confortable, calme et propre. La terrasse et piscine sont très agréable aussi et l’accueil chaleureux.
Le village de St Martin est magnifique et très bien situé. Il y a aussi un excellent restaurant à deux pas que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

"Nous avons trouvé la maison du bonheur pour fêter en famille un réveillon inoubliable. David nous a accueilli très chaleureusement au sein de son domaine familial refait avec goût et passion. Nous avons pu profiter d’un séjour à Pérouti au coeur de la campagne entourés des ânes et des moutons et d’une vue magnifique sur la vallée. Le temps s’est comme arrêté et tout ce qui nous entoure invite à profiter de l’instant présent et de la magie du lieu. Le domaine est spacieux et la cuisine sublime...

"The area was a little remote, but the house was exactly as described and plenty big enough for 3 family groups with a wide range in children’s ages. The outside areas worked brilliantly well, plenty of shade or sun as required.
The area was really peaceful and we had deer wandering around the area.
The property owner was really helpful with all our questions and responded really quickly.
If I’m being picky due to the heatwave we would have appreciated. Air con in the downstairs bedrooms....

"Our three week stay at Mandarou was a wonderful opportunity to remember that it’s the sights, sounds, and scents of the countryside that provide the best opportunities to relax and enjoy every moment of life.
Exploration of the bastides, many within 30 - 90 minutes of Mandarou, provides many opportunities to explore the history of the area.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette villa de plein pied, totalement conforme aux photos. Confort optimal et propreté sont au rendez-vous. Rien ne manque, tout est prevu. Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux de Patrick et de son épouse, avec en prime, un très beau panier garni de fruits et de légumes bien frais. A noter également , leur grande disponibilité. "The hotel is an old fashioned motel style low rise block with room doors giving into the car park, a grassed area or a walkway. It was very clean, the air con worked well, the bed was comfortable, the shower was decent and it was very quiet.
The manager gave us a room giving onto a grassy area in the shade as he knew we were travelling with a dog. In the evening we popped into his bar area and were served decent wine. We decided to stay for dinner which was simple home style french cooking, served quickly. Decent portions, very good service. The hotel is in a light industrial area some distance from the town centre. It could do with some renovation/updating but the manager is making it a very nice place to stay due to cleanliness and excellent swrvice"

"The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Our room was very large and the air conditioning was perfect. The front desk staff were welcoming and very friendly. We also enjoyed the exercise room on property and the location of the property. It was close to the highway as well as to the center of town. We were able to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. We would definitely reccomend this hotel!"

"Only comment would be that there were a lack of power outlets in the foom & the bathroom would benefit from some tlc.
The bar & restaurant were not open. I'm led to believe seasonal opening although on Hotels.com said that they were on site however should gave advised if open or not"

Fabulous house for all ages
"We had an amazing stay! We were 3 families with small children (age 7months - 7 years). The bedrooms were spacious enough to allow us to have our own space, whilst also being able to enjoy the many communal spaces inside and outside the property.
Everything has been thought of in this luxury house, with plenty of space and everything you could need in the kitchen (an absolute bugbear of mine with rental houses).
Instructions were really clear for finding the house and getting in, even in the dark. The house manager nearby was responsive and helped us with a few queries throughout our stay.
The pool and hot tub area is fab, and well set up for families of all ages. The depth of the pool meant that it was also suitable for less confident (adult) swimmers to use the whole pool. There is lots of land around the house so we went exploring with the kids a couple of times, picked some damsons from the tree for dinner. Even saw some deer!
We went out to a few local towns to explore, all with lots to do and good restaurants. Lots of recommendations from Parul and Andrew in the info book for a variety of different options nearby. A couple of well-stocked supermarkets and bakeries were a short drive away; we had no trouble purchasing the bits we needed for our stay.
