Great location, walking distance to the square. Nice quiet neighborhood, pet friendly. The lodge itself is a beautifully restored old home. We were the only ones there so had the common areas all to ourselves. Would definitely stay again.

Unique property

We actually had the whole place to us. Unique property with separate, private rooms and common kitchen and living room area. Great place for a big family gathering. We enjoyed our stay while visiting our son and daughter in law. We would definitely stay here again.

Quick Stay

Slipped thru town to stay one night. Seemed like it was only my family and another at the little compound. Very quiet and clean.

Beautiful remodel

In Mason for a wedding, only stayed 1 night - but I thoroughly enjoyed our short visit. As a child, my husband lived next door. The remodel of this home was awesome!

Very comfortable bed and linens. Our room was especially clean. Great location. But - one of the two lamps in our room did not have a light bulb. The central heat in our room did blow air but it was barely warm. It took a long time to warm up the room. The door to the bathroom in the common area would not stay shut unless latched from the inside thus giving a view into it from the kitchen and living room. And it’s time to clean up the outside of the building.

I wish I could live here permanently. Old world charm with all current amenities. Perfect spot for a family reunion with its multiple wings with rooms and common areas. Great communication with the managers, they were so nice and helpful, making our stay that much more wonderful. Will definitely book again when we find ourselves visiting the area. Check out Willow Creek Cafe & Club for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, and espcially dessert! It's just a short 2 min walk from Lea Lou Lodge. THANK YOU ! ! !

Mason

There were big broken limbs in the parking spaces & I had to move them. The grass wasn’t mowed & the lighting outside was too dim. The house itself was very unique. It was very clean inside.

The room wasn’t cleaned by 5:30, so we drove home. Finding the actual number of the internal address wasDifficult to find because it was inside of several rooms. We weren’t aware that it was a house with a common living area. Never saw that on the ad. The noise in the next room while we waited was surprising. VRBO called the owner twice to ask questions for us and they didn’t answer. I finally got the owner on line. She said she was never contacted. The room and bath was used and not prepped for next set of people. Not a good time at all. Owner would only reduce amt by 25. For all the hassles. We left as it was a very frustrating experience

Fantastic Stay!

Property was as listed and very clean upon arrival. We were unaware of the common living space and kitchen area that is utilized for all rooms of the home however, we were the only guests staying this weekend which worked out very well. Courtney was very personable as well as very quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had. She was very accommodating and easy to work with. As a result this has been our absolute best VRBO experience. Location is within walking distance from the main shops and entertainment available in Mason and the house along with rooms could not have been more comfortable. All areas of the home have been updated with a lot of care in regard to attention to detail. It was very welcoming from the moment we walked in and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend. If we could provide more than 5 stars, we certainly would.
