"I highly enjoyed my room with its high ceilings and comfortable bed. Very quiet and peaceful, waking up to the sounds of morning doves. The restaurant was exceptional - friendly staff and delicious food. Only complaint was the lack of communication between office staff and access to needed services - not having a reservation on Tropic Air on upon my arrival in Belize City, confusion about what could be ordered with the breakfast certificate, not giving me correct information about the pickup time for a snorkeling trip and then not being on the list for the trip, not being on the list for the water taxi to the airport. not arranging for my driver to be paid for my ride from the water taxi to the airport. Chronic lack of follow through. "

"Lovely staff, nice clean rooms, air conditioning worked great. Only thing giving this a 4* is the bed/pillows. I personally did not find the bed very comfortable and I like a thicker pillow. Other than that the place was amazing. Great location. "

"Really nice, comfortable rooms, updated and appreciated the drinking water provided. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and taking the bikes down to the general store. Enjoyed the quiet of the North Island "

"This was a ultra modern resort with excellent rooms and staff. Beautiful resort. In room laundry and multiple salt water pools. The restaurants were good but not great and the on site store was convenient but not well stocked. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had a terrible sargassum problem that rendered the sea front useless and the pools were cold"

"It is a new hotel and could be a very nice hotel but there are things that still need to be done before anybody would want to stay there. We stayed in a room with no phone and no clock no view and windows that couldn’t even open.. There’s nothing to do. They do offer a free ferry to get to the other side of the island where things are happening. They have no bike rental no ability to set up tours. The local Bliss beach is closed from Monday through Thursday. It is a beachfront property that is covered in sarcasm so you can’t use the beach anyway. they have a nice pool. It is as if they opened too soon they have condos. They are called the blue Zen which does you know good at the hotel the condos have a fitness center, kayaks, other activities, but the hotel has nothing. If you like room service, there is none. If you’d like to watch anything on Netflix or prime good luck. They have a small restaurant out on the dock we had two breakfast there one was OK and one was good. Even if you get a good deal on Expedia, I would wait till this hotel has better amenities before I would look at ever staying there again. No fault to the staff. They were awesome. They were communicating with me on WhatsApp because we didn’t have any kind of phone system to communicate on. They have a beach towel that you can use while you’re there that was nice. in all reality if I come back to the island, I will stay on the southside."

"Reception staff was very helpful directing us to a health clinic and arranging transportation. Good, clean budget option close to the ferry. "

"The room was basic but clean and they let us leave our luggage prior to check in so that we could do a trip which was helpful. The area is quiet . The room was large, and the aircon worked well. You can get coffee in the office each morning which was good. There is what appears to be a family dog loose in the resort , and it doesn’t bother anyone but we did see dog mess on the ground which was a bit off putting. "
