"The breakfast gave options of cooking a fresh waffle, heating a pancake or having cereal. Additionally, fresh fruit, 2 juices, coffee, snack cakes, bagels, english muffins and toast. Our 2nd stay. We opted for the extra-large room last time. We should have opted for it again as the one queen bedroom was just large enough to walk between the bed and TV with a tiny 2 chair table to the side. The bathroom was small. Plenty of hot water and water pressure in the old, smaller tup/shower combo. A fabulous location. An older hotel with lots of potential awaiting whoever the potential new owner may be once they renovate one of the three buildings that house 45-50 rooms and modernize the outdoor amenities and add new ones."

"This place is unique in design & layout, but always a pleasant surprise. The location in Bethlehem is excellent for nordic skiing & local restaurant access. I love the floating fireplaces in the lobby & spacious, elegant rooms. "

"This place is so cute even in the winter! The staff is amazing and really knows how make their guests happy. I went on Valentine's Day weekend and even though it was quiet they still had things going on like a nightly firepit! They even have a sauna and in room massages available. I even was gifted a goodie bag with spa robes and cute valentines goodies. Would definitely come again. "

"This property is an old school, but well kept motel. The bathroom is reminiscent of a 50/60s home bathroom but everything was clean and in working order. The view was beautiful, and the started double room was spacious enough for a small round table and chair. Heat kicked on fast, quickly warming up two cold skiers. Beds were comfortable enough and TV worked fine. This quaint stop had everything you need to rest and recharge, and this area of Franconia is beautiful. My only complaint is the check-in process was a little confusing, since there is no staff on site. I booked through Expedia, but the current hotel owner is using a different web host for check in and I was unable to access the link for this through Expedia messaging. The owner was very quick to respond and call me directly to explain the process, which was a life saver. My understanding is this motel is about to go through major upgrades and renovations, so it’ll be interesting to see what it becomes. "

"First, the location & price were right. Second, there was a guitarist/vocalist at dinner. Love that. Dinner was homemade & delish. Everyone was welcoming. Room was spacious & we slept WELL. Breakfast was included, delish, & in the bright & beautiful restaurant by the Amanoosuc River. The only very minor improvement I could suggest would be more lighting in the resto after dark. We'll happily be back!"
