"Started out disappointed as rented the ENTIRE property. This is not the case - you have shared kitchen with CCTV. Finished disappointed as accused of having child and making a racket. They forgot to check when we left and CCTV cameras - we weren’t even there. As for room - when we arrived heating was not going - they promptly got to fix issue. Room was lovely but hair on bed and floor - not ours! Location is very central- so good "

"Booked to stay with friends for an event. The Thursday before I messaged the host asking for an earlier check in, the host agreed for us to check in at 2 which was great for us! On the Saturday we arrived to the area after a 3.5 hour drive, we arrived slightly before 2. I messaged the host and ask if would be ok to get access the property early, the host said the property was not ready but we could leave our bags. " We were travelling around Norfolk n wanted an hotel as a mid travel stop off. We couldn’t have found a better place. So much so we booked for our return trip. The hotel and the team from , reception to housekeeping to restaurant team were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. "We stayed as we are renovating after a house move and the plasterer had taken over the house. It was a welcome break from the daily work of clearing up after tradesmen! The staff were lovely and the food good. We may be back - depending on how things progress at home!"

"Lovely attentive, helpful.and very patient staff. Our bed was really comfortable. Our room did look over the cathedral, which does mean the bells do wake you up at 7am! Still, it is lovely to be close to this amazing, historic building. Location amongst individual shops, which are a bit different, the cathedral and the castle is a real bomus."

"We normally stay at Holiday Inn Express in Lincoln but wanted to give this one ago, we got upgraded, without realising complete surprise and never given before, so Thankyou lovely touches in the room (can’t believe that someone would steal the coat hooks though which were replaced) complementary soft drinks,crisps n choc in chiller in room tea n coffee too. Bathroom lovely n clean again with gels, shampoo n handwash, everything u need. The lounge area and bar areas all comfortable n modern there was even treats for your dog as you enter reception plus iced water orange juice even ice creams for us adults too.We couldn’t fault it and will be back Thankyou to the hard working reception team for smiling and being welcoming,and the housekeeping team making sure we have a clesn comfortable environment. Well Done"
