"Not only is this place serene, the owner thought of EVERYTHING to make our stay enjoyable down to the towel warmers in the bathroom. The beautiful steel bridge into the grounds sets the scene. The home is tastefully decorated for comfort and luxury. And although the area was hit with historic rains during our stay, she made sure we felt safe when the waters were rising and offered to move us to higher ground. "The desk clerk was pleasant and friendly. Our king room was very clean, with plenty of seating, a large table, mini fridge and microwave. The area around the hotel is very clean with picnic tables and a nice swing for enjoying the outdoors. We also thought the location was perfect, close to restaurants and sight seeing adventures. Keep in mind it is an older hotel so the rooms interior and design is a bit dated. But, the mattress was great, the shower was good and that’s all we were after. "

"The Barn House is a gorgeous cottage full of charm! Its location is absolutely perfect and serene. We loved walking down to the creek and the leaves this time of year are stunning! I spent a lot of time on the front porch reading and soaking in the sounds of nature. Our host was very helpful and was great at answering our questions. I would love to stay again in the future."
