We had a brilliant stay at this lovely douiria! The location in the Kasbah was perfect: a quieter neighbourhood close to the medina, with the added convenience of being able to get taxis easily. Jemaa el-Fnaa was only a 15–20 minute walk away, making it an ideal base for exploring Marrakech.
We stayed in the “Hawaa” room on the top floor, which was lovely. The decor was modern, stylish, thoughtfully designed and very clean. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Fatima-Zahra, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches of nuts, biscuits and water waiting for us.
Overall, our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. The only minor issues were an unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen sink and the fact that noise from other guests was quite noticeable, as the floors are separated by curtains rather than solid doors. However, neither issue significantly affected our stay.
We travelled with our baby and, in hindsight, would not necessarily recommend this accommodation for families with very young children, as no cot was provided and noise can carry between floors, potentially disturbing other guests. It was also difficult to carry our pram up the stairs.
They were very accommodating when we requested a late check-out, which we greatly appreciated. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would like to thank the team for their warm welcome and hospitality. Perfect accommodation for couples.
