Staff is very good but there was no heater in the room, it was freezing and we could not sleep. I don’t recommend staying here in winters
Lovely Riad with truly exceptional service. Anass went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect; from meeting us in the parking lot to serving mint tea upon arrival and packing breakfast for us as we had an early start next day. The room was clean and comfortable. This felt like home away from home.
Staff was incredibly helpful. I will say that the entrance to this Riad (and most Riads in Marrakech) are deceiving as they open into alleyways, but all it takes is one step through the door and it is like entering a different world.
The Riad was beautiful and it’s location was very close to many atrractions. Our host was very helpfull, gave good tips and was always available.
Breakfast was traditional Maroccon and was very delicious.
Anass runs a lovely riad with great communication (he gave us a mobile phone on our welcome), he was on hand to organise taxis and had very good advice about the surrounding area. The rooms were quaint and clean and the staff were generally very hospitable. The riad was a safe, short walking distance to the djema el fna and lots of great restaurants and bars.
Beautiful Riad, set in a great location in the Medina. Easy drop off and pick up point close to the Riad. Staff went above and beyond on every occasion making sure our stay was perfect. Delightful breakfast ready to start your day. Lovely dip pool to cool off in the Marrakech day heat. Thank you so much for your hospitality Emma x
Utter perfection from start to finish. We were welcomed from our airport transfer by Annas and treated to a delicious welcome of tea and Morrocan biscuits. The Riad is beautiful, clean and relaxing. Our room was lovely and just as we expected. We had two nights here and it was very well situated so we were able to enjoy everything that Marrakesh had to offer.
Highlights for us were:
Places - Les Bain du Lotus Hamman, Madrasa Ben Yousef and La Maison du Photographe.
Trips - Hot air balloon at sunrise and Imlil valley hike.
Restaurants - Naranj, Nomad and Cafe des Espices. El Fenn good for cocktails if you can get past their odd admission system for drinks.
Breakfast at Riad Dar Dar was delicious and plentiful. The staff were kind and hardworking and would go out of their way to make us comfortable.
Thoroughly recommendation you stay here.
This property was not far from where the taxi drop you off. It’s very central to Jemma El Fna. The breakfast could have been better… compared to other Riad’s there was not much option. The room was spacious for 4 people. The bathroom was adequate as well. Over all a good experience for first time staying in a Riad. A special mention about Anass and Noel. Both were exceptional hosts.

Positive: nice room and good breakfast.
Negative: doesn't completely match pictures and description published. In the toilet: broken flush and main's plug not working. When arrived, 15 minutes ringing at he door without answer.
The beautiful Riad looks like on the pictures. Anass made our stay to an unforgettable first Marrakesh experience and we have enjoyed so much! He helped us with organization of taxi and answered all questions we had. He was always reachable via Whatsapp and replied super fast! The breakfast was very yummy and traditional. The Riad is very close to some main tourist attractions so you can easily walk by feet. The location is safe and quiet. Thank you so much Anass! Until next time.
We had a truly lovely stay here, the Riad looks exactly like the photos. A traditional Moroccan breakfast was provided every morning, and they were super accommodating with what time we could eat it even if it was at 12pm, you just let them know beforehand! The Riad manager Anass & his colleague were super friendly and helpful, on arrival he provided us with a mobile phone that we could call if we needed anything (as the Riad does not have 24hr front desk service, from memory it is open 06:00-23:00) and he also showed us all the main attractions nearby on a map, that we could take with us. Our stay was made all the better for the amazing hospitality we received. Thank you Anass!
Great staff! Anas was wonderful and so was the lady who made our breakfast and cleaned! Thank you so much to the both of you! One thing to note is it looked like they were undergoing some renovations while we were there so the property wasn’t as appealing as some of the photos especially the balcony area up top. Another thing to note is there was no bathroom door, instead just a curtain. I’m big on doors being on bathrooms and thought I saw one in the photos so this was an issue for me, it could have been just our room as we didn’t ask but that was our room. Also, the rooms are not soundproof, I could hear everything going on outside of our room in the mornings, just fyi.
Everything about Riad Dar Dar was perfect! It was our first time in Morocco and our host Anass made sure we were safe, comfortable and had a truly enjoyable trip. He hosted us for delicious breakfasts and helped us plan the best excursions. We truly felt the hospitality of Moroccan culture at Dar Dar through Anass and Noelle. The Riad was beautiful, our room had a beautiful view of the garden, and there was even a rooftop view that was beautiful at sunset. Further, it was a short walking distance from Jemaa el-Fnaa and other attractions. Whenever we needed to go further, Anass would help us find reliable transportation. Overall, we can say the reason our trip went so well was primarily because of our stay at Riad Dar Dar, We will definitely hope to return soon!
Very nice staff, they were able to prepare a to go plate for our breakfast because we were not going to make breakfast since our excursion was early in the morning.

Had an amazing stay, felt so welcome!! The host helped us with everything we needed, and even gave us a map and contact info if we needed any help on our travel.
The Riad was fantastic, would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Marrakesh. Anass was a fantastic host with lots of tips and went out of his stay to make the trip so enjoyable
Amazing host and great accommodation. Our stay at the Riad Dar Dar was a through Moroccan experience. Anas was very accommodating to us. Riad is conveniently close to the Medina and everything.Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Anas for making our vacation unforgettable. Sunil and Barbara
The stay at the Riad was exceptional. The host, Anaas, was very helpful both before our departure and upon our arrival. The accommodation was well-equipped with all necessary amenities and was conveniently located near major landmarks. We walked to the main square every day, returning late in the evening, and felt safe in the area. Anaas also provided valuable recommendations for local attractions and brought breakfast to our floor. Overall, it was an excellent trip and stay, and we plan to return in the future.
