The House is called "Chuva-de-Ouro" and is part of Mandowa Beach Forest and Cottages.

The perfect place to relax! Comfortably sleeps 8 Guests with 3 en suite bedrooms and 2 additional mattresses in two of the rooms (one in each). The primary bedroom is on the upper level. It contains an open space bathroom, an outdoor shower overlooking the sea, and access to the balcony.Wifi is available, but you need to pay for it.Comes with a fully functional self-catered kitchen - including a gas stove, electric oven, a full-sized refrigerator, eat-in counter, and all the glassware/silverware you need - along with a comfortable veranda, upper balcony, private parking, and yard.

There is also a pool, an eating area and small braai along the pool, and a tennis court - these spaces are accessible and shared amongst all Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages Guests.

Guests can access everything within the House - along with the gorgeous beach, only a six-minute walk. However, the outdoor spaces within the facilities are shared amongst all Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages Guests.

4x4 is recommended so you can explore the surrounding areas in Macaneta with more comfort. After the paved road roundabout coming from Macaneta bridge, there is a 10-15min stretch of the journey to Mandowa Beach Forest & Cottages driving on sand. It is possible to get there with a small car, but we have had a few instances where Guests in small vehicles got stuck and had to pay local residents to help them.

If you book with us, we will share a map that indicates the best path for small cars.

There are markets on the way to Macaneta and some restaurants near the House. Please bring groceries - your best bet is to shop in Maputo or Matola before arriving. The unit includes tap water, hot water, and a generator to keep your electricity in service, but we recommend you bring bottled water for your consumption.
