チェックイン時にいた女性がドイツ語オンリーだったのにはあせったが、感じの良いおばさんで、こちらの言う事を分かろうとしてくれていたので良かった。

Gut gelegenes Hotel

Wir haben das Hotel als Zwischenstopp zur Weiterreise nach Kroatien genutzt. Für 5 Personen perfektes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück und das Essen im Hotel ist auch sehr empfehlenswert. Der Ort bietet einiges, um sich zu erholen bevor man die Weiterfahrt aufnimmt. Eine tolle Abkühlung bekommt man im Wössner See in Unterwössen, hervorragender Bergsee, gerade mit Kindern!

One night at the village

There was a misunderstanding while checking in to the Hotel. Our room was given away but they gave us some discount because of that. Also the milk at the breakfast tasted and smelled outdated. Other than that it was a decent stay at a very clean room.

Good family hotel

Very soft mattress and wifi wasnt working in first floor (where are rooms). Other services ok, breakfast excellent, friendly staff.

Good location, restaurant, and friendliness

Wanted to be close to Salzburg without paying too much. 4 adults traveling with 2 mo old infant. Arrived earlier than check-in time, they worked hard to get our room done quickly. Only 45 min from Salzburg. Near Lake Chinese, beautiful lake. Beautiful scenery. The attendant spoke English. 4 twin beds and they brought an infant sleeper for free. Modern and roomy shower, just no vanity space in bsthroom. Bath towels, but no washcloths. Guess that's typical for Europe. Food in restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffet was included, and was very good. There is no elevator, and i am handicapped, so going up stairs was slow, but stairs are not too steep. Lucky our room was just above ground level, not several levels up. popHighly recommend this place.

Good start but a bad end.

Very good, fast and friendly check in. The room was ok, clean but old and hard beds. The room should need some maintenance. We decided to stay at the restaurant in the hotel since it looked busy and that normally is a good sign. In this case it was not. They were very under staffed for the evening. We had to wait quite some time for the food and then only half of the family was served. We waited more than 20 minutes before the last meals arrived. When we made a remark about that we didn't get any "we are sorry". The breakfast was ok but not more. We asked if we could have some coffee in our thermos to go and they filled it up without telling us that it eould cost anything. When we checked out they tried to charge us €10 for the coffee. The stay started very good but the staff in the kitchen during our stay has to go to a customer service course.

Nice hotel, good breakfast buffet

On our way south, my family and I stayed one night. Our room was plenty big for two adults and two kids - one in a baby travel bed supplied for free by the hotel. The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, we did not have much time to explore though.
