"A most charming place to stay nestled in the hills of the Massif Central, this was formerly the village school house and retains many original features. Dinner was provided by the hosts and was particularly well received. Breakfast was basic but no less delicious for that."

We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. The room smelled a bit of cigarettes and had to be aired out. The layout was complicated with steps right after the door and a seperate toilet which...

"Parking was full so had to leave on the road with lots of wedding bits inside. Hotel ok but tired. Room basic. No water or tea facility. Restaurant overpriced and under whelming. I had a local dish. Local Sausage and mash. Basic sausage and mash tasted like smash. Dried potatoes. Felt a bit money grabbing. "

"This is an amazing find such lovely family owners took great care of us - the rooms perfect and clean. The home cooked food was amazing and service impeccable. Safe parking and so close to the Puy Mary volcano mountain area. Will stay again!"

"The check in staff were amazing, but when we went to the restaurant it all went down hill 100mph, the staff ignored us especially the self proclaimed sommelier, he needs a rocket, even with eye contact he completely chose to not see.....the food wasnt any better, gluggy potatoes full of cheese, dry beoff..no water as asked for when we finally were asked until we asked again later, poured our own wine, and many tables were in the same predicament.. mattress was terrible, but the toom otherwise...

Pas de connexion wifi alors que sur l’annonce s’est bien indiqué qu’elle est disponible. Pas de personnels, on récupère la clé dans une boîte à l’entrée de la chambre. "It was horrible rainy, misty and cold. The room was cold and even through the owner brought us an extra heater & a lovely cup of tea, it never got above 17 degrees. Small room with basic facilities. Narrow stairs & struggle to get bags up to room. Restaurant nice but steak I had was tough."
