"My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this pretty cottage on the grounds of the lovely estate. The cottage is well-equipped, nicely designed, and very comfortable. It is well located for the port towns and cliff tops of the Lizard Peninsula. I recommend a visit to the stunning Minack Theatre - an outdoor theatre built into the cliffs with views across the ocean, as well as the nearby town of Helston. Thank you, Charles!"

"Walkable distance to the centre of Falmouth. Loads of free parking when we went. One occasion. we parked on the road a little up hill (2 minutes walk). Its a lovely cottage, I hadn't considered the Victorian steep steps up to the first floor (regarding my 80+ YO mum), but equally might be testing if one had little kids. Other than that, we loved it cheers."

"Such a lovely little holiday home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Teg is literally in the middle of nowhere, blink and you’ll miss the turning so make sure you read your email directions. We didn’t! We followed the sites postcode directions which aren’t specific enough.
The accommodation is so quaint, lots of lovely blues and Cornish ware China, everything you need to make a cup of tea and coffee and toast and the hosts very kindly left us a cream tea to enjoy when we arrived.

"Just returned from a 7 night stay at Savoy view apartment
The accommodation was excellent, everything needed for the stay was provided and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.
We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely.
The property is in an ideal location for exploring the beaches and coves on the Lizard peninsula....

"Harvey Lodge is a hiden gem in a woodlands next to a river beautiful setting peace full beats any Premier Inn owners are friendly and helpful and they care about their guests bed is very comfy you just don't to get out of it in a morning if you care about a digital detox and peace of mind this is a place it's very near Helston town and close to Porthleven and other seaside places just beautiful felt like I was at home and not a holiday or working away from home "

"Travelling as a family we had 3 rooms here, one family room and 2 doubles. 2 of the rooms were amazing with views of St Michael’s mount. The 3rd room was tiny in comparison but cost roughly the same. So mixed views on the rooms, similarly in the restaurant, breakfast was excellent however, fish and chips in the restaurant in the evening and children’s meals were disappointing considering the location and price point."

"I recently stayed at this hotel in St Ives and had a very disappointing experience. The room I was given did not match what was shown in the booking photos at all. It felt misleading and not worth the money. Cleanliness was a major issue — the room was not properly cleaned, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Basic services were also missing, and when I raised these concerns with the staff, there was little to no response or effort to resolve the situation. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and mismatch between the advertised and actual room made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend this hotel to others and strongly suggest future guests be cautious before booking."

"Staff were lovely, and the property is situated beautifully. However, the property itself needs extensive renovation. The rooms as very dated. The worst part though was how dirty the rooms were, and I mean filthy. All crumbs and think dust on outter edges of carpets. The soap dish in shower was think with black mould and old soap. There is also no aircon (you do get a fan) but the window barely opens and it is like a furnace at night, makes it extremely unpleasant. Only stayed there due to a wedding but would not stay again."

"Parking spaces were plentiful. The staff were kind and helpful and offered to carry our bags upstairs because there isn't a lift. The family room was a good size and clean and the bed was comfortable and had two pillows. It had a fan, heater, and iron and ironing board already there, but no air conditioning so it got quite hot during this heatwave. The bathroom was pristine and had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and there were various towels and bathrobes. Breakfast choices were good and the food was delicious. The swimming pool was great with a shallow and a deep end. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable time."

"The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost opportunity."
