Sharing our Family Home in Paradise! This house is a rare find!! Nice Florida Keys home with an old Florida Keys feel. The home is not on a canal, so the view is not obstructed! And it has shade on back deck for evening cookouts! Located on the Bay with 5 minute access to BOTH the Gulf and the Atlantic!! 100' seawall with up to 30' Boat Dockage and boat trailer parking. Island Time Boat Rental will deliver a boat to the house for free!

Spacious 3580 square foot Keys Home with one of the best views in Marathon. Relax on the balcony and watch beautiful boats idling by, kayak the mangroves, bike Pigeon Key and hike in Curry Hammock State Park. You may also swim at Sombrero Beach and in the wonderful pool. Dinners out at Sunset Grill, Porky’s and Burdine’s are amazing. But the best meals may be on the gas grill at the house.

Watch paddle boarders paddling by and watch dolphins and manatees swimming. The home is also located minutes from the Atlantic Ocean or go under the Vaca Cut Bridge and you are in the Gulf of Mexico. Captain Hooks Marina and Dive Center is right there for fuel and all of your fishing, diving and boat rental needs.

Captain Scott and Captain Lisa with Salt Dance Boat Tours will fill your days with a sand bar charter, snorkeling adventures, sunset trips and more during your private excursion on board their beautiful 23' deck boat. Or they will be your captain for a day on your rented boat. Secure your booking at 305-916-8495.

You will enter this spacious 4-bedroom 4-bathroom Pool Home on the second floor with a Spacious Kitchen, Living Room and Dining Room. This is the place to start your morning or enjoy morning coffee on the Comfortable Wrap Around Balcony. On this level you will also find the Master Suite with a King size Bed and Master Bath. Two more bedrooms and a quest bath are also on this level with one featuring a Queen Size Bed and the other has 2 Full Size Beds.

Make your way down to the first floor and stock the Tiki Bar with your favorite libation and enjoy a friendly game of Billiards, Table Tennis or the Island classic "The Bimini Ring". Also on this floor is the spacious 4th Bedroom with a King Size Bed, and full bathroom.

The Pool Bath is located right off the game room along with the French Doors leading out to the Beautiful Pool Deck and Boat Dockage area. Arrive back after a long day on the ocean and relax into the refreshing pool before washing down your boat and cleaning your catch. You will find a Fish Cleaning Table for your convenience complete with water hookup conveniently located away from the pool area. Bait Freezer is conveniently located off the garage. You may also decide to do some night fishing off the seawall, which is when the fish are biting but daytime fishing has landed mango snappers, shark, tarpon, etc.

Whether you bring your own boat, rent a boat or charter a boat there is something for you here. Sombrero Reef is 3 miles offshore for an amazing snorkeling and diving adventure. Fishing and Dive Charters are located within a 5-minute drive by car. Marathon has 2 beaches. Sombrero Beach 4.6 miles and Coco Plum Beach a natural beach only 0.9 mile. We recommend making the drive to Bahia Honda State Park. It is 15 miles south toward Big Pine Key. There is also a Community Park Only 4.2 miles that features Tennis, Basketball, Skateboarding, Soccer, Basketball, Shuffleboard, Boccie Ball and Picnic Areas. Key Colony has Pickleball Courts!

This location also has four restaurants and bars within an easy boat ride!! The Island Fish Company, Keys Fisheries, Burdines Waterfront and also Sunset Grill and Raw Bar. If bringing your boat be careful of the current at Sunset Grill.

The house is only 55 miles away for a day in Key West.

You will also see a Welcome Book that will have an abundance of local information to make your stay and stress free.

You will also see paddle boarders, kayaks and manatees.

Check in process was easy, pictures and descriptions in listing were accurate. Fabulous location and view! Pool area was great as was the dockage for boats. Lots of seating in the living space which you don’t usually find in rentals, we loved that! Beds were all very comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet, neighbors were all very nice, also unusual with rentals. Lots of space to spread out! The house is older and could use some maintenance, lot of small things but nothing that hindered our stay. Could also use some new towels. It wasn’t as clean as I would like, seemed maybe it had been sitting for a while since it was last cleaned. We had a some issues but property manager was very responsive and did her best to get everything resolved. Overall we had a great vacation!!

The Happy Place

Plenty of room, but dated. AC system needs cleaning as there is mold on all vents. Bed sheets were clean, however a couple mattresses had what appeared to be urine stains. Pool was awesome, game room fun, and convenience of boat dock. Overall happy with the experience, just needs some TLC for the price.

Wonderful stay!

This house was a great place to stay. It was very spacious & a great location. The house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed. We had easy check in & good communication with our host. The beds were all very comfy! We opted to have the pool heated & that was a nice treat. So nice to start & end our day sitting on the top deck taking in the beautiful scenery.Pictures listed are all accurate. Our family of 6 adults totally enjoyed staying here!

Perfect Keys Getaway

House was perfect for our family of 7. Plenty of room for the boat. Easy to get in and out of for a day on the water. Pool was very refreshing after being on the boat all day. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to others and would love to stay again.

Great place

We had the best time during our stay at this property. We paid to have the pool heated and it was so worth it. The kids spent hours in it every day. The view is wonderful and we enjoyed watching the boats coming and going. It was so relaxing. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and suited our family. We would definitely stay here again!

Marathon stay

Nice place, close to gas and bait for the boat, My daughter in law caught a 50 inch tarpon from the dock! Kinda tight getting the trailer in for a 30 foot boat. All in all, very nice!

Needs updating

Although the property is located in a convenient area and very spacious for a large family, we will not be returning . Property needs major updates, from bathroom, windows, dock if you plan on bringing boat. We arrived at 4 the cleaning crew was still at the house and on checkout they arrived at 9am when checkout is at 10. Every morning construction started from 630-7am, if this had been outlined on the description we would have picked a different location. I appreciate the responsiveness of the property manager but there was nothing she could do. Kitchen is lacking basic things as a lighter, wine bottle opener amongst other things. The playroom was fun, but like the rest of the property needs some TLC, pool sticks were falling apart.

Great location and beautiful views. Game room was fun and pool was nice. Many areas that need work!!

The little things made the biggest impact. There were hardly any glasses to use or plastic cups for pool. None of the bowls matched and there wasn’t enough for 5 of to use at same time. Almost every light fixture needed at least one bulb replaced. No lights outside on patio. Towels were in desperate need of replacement. We were using Towels that were frayed with bleach spots. Sheets had rust spots and blood stains on pillow cases. Cleaning could use much improvement. Our feet were black from just walking through house. Pool apparently was heated but we were never told until half through the vacation. Couldn’t use the pool for first 3 days because it was too cold. Grill needed a good cleaning. We’ve stayed in cleaner more updated homes for much less money. I think we left it cleaner than what how we found it. Probably wouldn’t rebook for the price we paid. It was a great location with stunning views but I’ve seen others with same views more updated for less money.

Fishing trip

Every 4 us friends goto the keys to fish. Thia year we stayed in Marathon and it did not disappoint. House was great host was great pool and property nice. Well be back next year

Amazing place to relax and have fun!

This property was amazing! We had 8 people there. 3 couples and my 2 children. The house had everything we needed and was well kept. The sleeping arrangements were very convenient as well as bathroom situations. There was plenty of room to dock our boat and getting in and out was a breeze for both the gulf and Atlantic side. The pool was awesome. After fishing and or lobstering we came back and relaxed in the pool. The upstairs balcony was a fan favorite too. Looking out at the ocean and feeling the breeze was spectacular at all points of the day. We definitely loved this place for our vacation. We would definitely recommend this to others as well as stay again. The host is also very responsive if you need to communicate about anything. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Family Vacation

We have been traveling to the Keys for many years with our family this house was the perfect house for a fun filled family vacation! The house is in a great location & had plenty of room for us & our adult children as well as our 1 year old grandson! The host was extremely receptive to our needs and calls making the whole experience awesome! We plan to rent it every year for our Annual Keys Vacation! Thanks again to Lori & James for helping us to create incredible family memories!!
