Coral Lagoon Single Family Home 3bed/2.5bath with 40' Boat Slip w/ Power + Water

Welcome to paradise! The Silly Sailfish is 1 of 8 stand-alone single-family homes within the 25-unit community and very close to the pool. (*The canal is currently CLOSED to access. There will be active marine construction in the canal behind the home*) The resort is located on 6 acres of mature tropical landscape oceanside immediately adjacent to Vaca Cut and Key Colony Beach. Coral Lagoon Resort offers a heated in-ground pool, use of on sight trailer storage and boat ramp (small fee applies) through the Boat House Marina. Full marina services on-site including high and dry, fuel and fish cleaning facilities.
We invite you to enjoy our clean and comfortable residence with its bright and open floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen is ready to cook and entertain. French doors open onto a large outdoor covered deck with electric grill, ample seating and beautiful water views.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and 2 full baths. The spacious Master Suite has a king bed with premium bedding, spacious closets, attached bath with walk-in shower and private balcony. The Queen Suite has a queen-sized bed with luxurious bedding and overlooks the resorts manicured lawn. The Twin Suite offers 2 twin beds and shares a full bathroom with the Queen Suite. Every bedroom has vaulted ceilings with a ceiling fan and TV with cable in addition to high-speed Wi-Fi Internet.

We were very pleased with this house - very clean and comfortable! It will be even better when the canal construction fencing is down and the use of the canal is restored -- we plan to return, maybe with our boat next time!

We can’t wait to return, the location and property was perfect for a family getaway. Has everything you could need and in a great middle point in the Keys to access most towns. Clean, quiet and really beautiful.

We have stayed on site several times. It’s an excellent spot. Very quiet. Currently the boat channel is under repair. We will stay here again if the opportunity arises

Great time at Coral Lagoon

The place is EXACTLY as advertised. Host was immediately responsive. The place was VERY clean, and comfortable! Convenient location for anything you want to do in the Keys. Walking distance to a couple of good restaurants - we highly recommend Island Fish Company! The pool was lovely and relaxing. I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the memories!

Bring your boat and stay at this paradise! Everything you could want and need. Recommendation to owner - is better mattresses and pillows but overall a great few days away.

Beautiful place, clean and great location for us. Pool was wonderful, clean and warm. House had games for children and everything that we needed. Nice to walk around the property and other units as well by the water. Host was also very approachable and helpful.

Great stay!

Host was very responsive! Property was excellent and great for the boat right behind the house. Marina attached with its own boat ramp and fuel station just plan on using that ramp before 4 pm bc they close it. Over great experience and will stay there again.

We stayed here for 5 nights and the place was awesome. The host was quick to respond and made the entire process very simple. Wonderful stay in the keys

We enjoyed the deck with seating, and used the boat slip. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean. Plenty of space for the whole family! Perfect if your bringing a boat to go explore or fish! Host answers questions quickly and is very helpful!

It was very nice. It would have been really nice to have a firepit on the patio during the cool nights. It was great for six friends. We had three couples so the twin beds were not great but manageable.

Very nice property with house on a canal. Nice walk around canal and marina. Convenient location in Marathon. Great restaurants close by. Catholic Church is an easy walk next door. Would definitely stay there again. It is close to the Marathon airport and you will hear the occasional plane but air traffic was very infrequent and more added to the character than took away from it. Wonderful home.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The home is stunning, kept emaculately clean & tidy. A perfect location for relaxing but not too far away to reach all the amenities that Marathon has to offer. The porch makes the entire location worthwhile, but the entire home was cozy & welcoming. Communication with Jim was easy & quick. We were regular vistors to the Keys area, but hadn't been for several years. Having found this location, we will definitely be back.

Perfect Location

My family and I wanted to get away for a few days in the Keys, and this was the perfect location for us. We enjoyed the kayaking in Curry Hammock State Park (10 min away), watching the sunsets at Sunset Park (5 min away), and took a day trip to Key West (around 1 hr away). And Marathon has many nice, reasonably priced restaurants with super fresh seafood and more., we especially enjoyed Fish Tales and Frank's Grill. The Silly Sailfish was very clean, roomy, nicely decorated, with a full kitchen, plenty of towels, and comfortable beds. Its patio overlooked a small lagoon, and the complex was quiet and relaxing. Probably the best rental home we have stayed at. For the price of two tiny hotel rooms in the Keys, we were able to enjoy the weekend in a modern, spacious house, and were able to partake in the best of both the Middle and Lower Keys. Would highly recommend !!

A little piece of Paradise

The home was very comfortable for a family of two and a family of four. The host was amazing. We booked this property months ago and of course the time we were staying, we had Tropical Rains! We asked the host if we could change our dates because of the weather and was gracious to say yes! Unfortunately the other family that booked next door to us was told flat out no! Even with the state of Florida having a state of emergency and all flights were canceled they still said no! So thank you Jeff for wanting to work with us, but we did manage to make the best of our time in Marathon! So again Thank you for being the host that you were and your home was perfect! Coral Lagoon Community was definitely a piece of Paradise.
